Truly obsessed with your creature designs. Do you have any personal headcanons for gurlanin native environments, like what caused them to look like that

Your art is badass

Thank you! 😁

I don't really have any headcanons, for anything. I just try to work with what exists and go with it. So, to answer your question, I've never really thought about it. Overall, their abilities seem overkill, based on what little we know about Qiilura.

Here is a gdan running for its life!

Just stumbled upon your art and needed to let you know that I'm totally obsessed with your art. Especially the clones but also everything else. Just mind blowing!!

Thank you! I'm glad you like my stuff. ❤️

I am in love with your art. The lighting an poses you choose are amazing. Excited to learn from you and improve my Mando art in turn

Thank you very much! 😊

Spar, from chapter 30 of Restless. In this scene, he is what I'd call “un gros lourd” in French, but I've read someone who gave an English equivalent as “an annoying pest”, and I think it fits ah ah. I love this chapter.

I know it will sound like a poor excuse, but I bought myself a very good book on anatomy a few months ago, and I though this scene in the fic would be perfect to practice. I was a little worried about the angle at which I could draw this without giving the impression that it's meant to be explicit. Eventually I found a reference photo which I think looked good and started from here.

I probably made several anatomical mistakes, but I did my best. 🥲

“I opted to take on Vau. He had a real Mando iron saber, and I was unarmed. I just went at him. I never wanted to kill so badly in my life and he just cut me up. [...]” ― Atin to Fi, Republic Commando: Triple Zero

It was about time I drew the man. I designed his armor using various references and my imagination, I just didn't want it to look like Jango's armor in black. I've got a soft spot for scarves, so I gave him one. For Mird I tried the stay close to my original concepts of it, but with more skin and color on its coat. And I added a collar too, because it's mentioned it has one in True Colors (and also in Triple Zero, indirectly). I'm still not sure about the size of a strill, but since Vau keeps scooping Mird up in his arms, I don't think it can be bigger than that. Also, I think a beskad is supposed to be shorter, but I liked it like this so... artistic liberty, I guess.

A space dad and his favorite son.

I took some liberties with their armors. I made a mix of the canon ARC armor and the official representations I could find for Ordo. And I did whatever I wanted with Kal, because I can't imagine he wears the exact same armor as Jango but in gold. Added his Bantha jacket too, because it's implied he wears it on his armor (in this scene in Triple Zero where Darman is on fire).

Do you take requests? If so could you do some echo fanart? Thanks!

Hello! No I'm sorry, I don't take requests. But I will probably draw Echo at some point, I just don't know when.

Some concept sketches of Gurlanins. The perfect predators and spies, I really like this species!

I think I should have made them look more alienish, but I'm not very good at that. I took inspiration from various real animals for their design: maned wolf for the body, bear for the mouth, bat for the nose and otter for the paws, whiskers and tail because I found an old forum post of Karen Traviss describing the Gurlanins as "carnivorous black-furred, long-legged otter-like creatures". I took a look at kangaroos too. For the rest, I used the descriptions provided in the RC books.

Initial concepts and rough sketches below the cut.

Different views of Kamino inspired from LtFAD fics. I wanted to practice drawing environments and Kamino seemed like a good place to start.

The first drawing is a scene from chapter 2: Off Hours of One Of A Million: Cody and Rex.

Anyone else might have thought Cody was looking out at the storm with mere curiosity, but 7567 already knew him well enough to know the tiny furrow between his eyebrows had greater meaning. Cody standing tall in the face of his fears…”

The second one is not an actual scene from LtFAD but it's inspired from the descriptions of Derem in chapter 32. I love all the stuff on Kaminoans in this fic! I reused the design I made on my previous drawing for the Auco.
