Nesta and Cassian by covaleinne [instagram]
"Gwyn and Emerie have never been subjected to Nesta's verbal abuse!"
Nor have they been subjected to Cassian's harassment, verbal abuse, and temper tantrums. Nor have they been subjected to Amren's verbal abuse and racism. Nor have they been subjected to Feyre's bullying. Nor have they been subjected to Mor's insults. Nor do they live under the constant threat of physical violence and death by Rhysand.
If Nesta truly is this mean, hateful, abusive bitch that Feyre and the IC think she is than she wouldn't be constantly surrounded by friends before, during, and after the Archeron's poverty. It was Feyre - not Nesta - who was a loner in the human lands. Her only friend was Isaac Hale, who was more her fuckbuddy than her friend.
The narrative paints Feyre as this perfect, selfless, nice, easy-to-love person, but all her friends are her mate's friends. They accepted her with open arms because she was Rhysand's mate (or they suspected her to be). The only friends she's made on her own are Lucien and her painter friend. Meanwhile, Nesta's really only not friends with her mate's friends. She's out here making friends left and right on her own, apart from him.
Anyone who meets Nesta without Feyre's interference absolutely adores her. It's really just the IC that Nesta doesn't like, and it's really just the IC who don't like her.
Nesta Archeron - Sketches.
Based off the Nesta charcoal quick figures I did before. :) She's my absolute favorite, so this is fs a long time coming!

take the long way home chapter 3 excerpt
He remembered unpacking and putting away her clothes, all of them modest yet suited to Nesta’s unique style. It didn’t match the image one would have of a substance-abusing stripper at all, and yet that was apparently who Nesta had been while she was away.
Watching her hold a knit vest printed with cats against her chest, Cassian felt that surge of curiosity in him again. He wanted to know more about her personal style. He wanted to know whether life in LA had been easier than Velaris or harder. He wanted to know if anyone had looked out for her while she lived alone in California, if she still had that little drinking problem or if it had dwindled away over the years. He wanted to know what her favorite books were and how long they’d been her favorite.
But he couldn’t ask her any of these things, because he wasn’t a stranger that had noticed her from across the bar or a coworker with an office crush. He was Rhys’s lackey first and foremost, Feyre’s best friend second, and then…after going down the long list of people that Cassian owed his loyalty to, only then was he a man who was utterly enchanted by the woman across from him.
"Gwyn and Emerie wouldn't like Nesta if they knew she made death threats to their High Lady!"
First of all, y'all need to stop acting like Nesta is out here threatening Feyre on the daily. She threatened Feyre one time, and it was in defense of Elain. Could Nesta have been nicer? Sure. Does Feyre also need to learn what the word "No" means? Definitely. But it's not Feyre who lives under the constant threat of Nesta committing physical harm against her. It's Nesta who lives under the constant threat of physical violence.
Secondly, why would Gwyn and Emerie care? Do you take it personally when the leader of your country receives a death threat? I sure don't. Gwyn and Emerie don't know Feyre. People may love Feyre, but that doesn't mean every character is going to. Antis act like Gwyn and Emerie are going to ditch Nesta once they meet Feyre, but they're Nesta's chosen family. If there's ever another Nesta vs. Feyre situation, they're going to side with Nesta because that's what chosen families do.
Thirdly, Nesta mentioned that she told Gwyn and Emerie every horrible thing she thought and said, so it's quite likely that she did tell them about threatening Feyre, and they didn't care. But you know what they will care about? They'll care that their High Lord is threatening their sister with physical violence and/or death on practically a daily basis. They'll care that Nesta doesn't feel safe around Cassian, and that Nesta doesn't think Cassian will protect her.
Nesta and her cutest family💗

"Gwyn wouldn't like Nesta is she made an off-handed comment about Gwyn's dead sister!"
And why would she do that? Antis give Nesta a level of cruelty that doesn't exist within her character. If Nesta was going to insult Catrin, she had almost 700 pages to do so, but the thought never even occurred to her.
I feel like it's worth mentioning that Lucien and Feyre are somehow still friends even though Feyre burned his mother and refused to apologize for it.
The cruelest things Nesta has said is that Feyre is a half-wild beast and that Cassian is a low-born bastard. Feyre, Rhys, Cassian, and Amren have all said and done far crueler things than Nesta. I know that people will say, "The IC aren't perfect, but they don't get off on being cruel like Nesta does." But if the IC didn't get off on their cruelty, they would think about the things they've done, own up to them, and apologize. But they don't. Nesta does, though.
Nesta is me, I’m Nesta🙂↔️

I keep seeing people try to downplay Nesta killing the Middengard Wyrm because she needed the Mask, but I don't even think that's comparable to Feyre killing one as a human.
Keep in mind, Feyre needed Lucien's help to kill the Wyrm, or else she'd be dead. She didn't kill her Middengard Wyrm unassisted either. Nesta using the Mask to kill the Wyrm doesn't diminish her accomplishment.
And then people want to say that Feyre is more powerful than Nesta because of it? Feyre is more powerful than Nesta, who could have ruled the world with her power? Feyre is more powerful than Nesta, who is a worthy opponent to Rhys - the Most Powerful High Lord in Prythian history? Feyre as a human was more powerful than Az with his seven Siphons (because he couldn't kill the Wyrm either)?
Feyre killed a Wyrm, but she did not kill the same Wyrm as Nesta. Nesta's Wyrm was able to eat her power and had been eating the magic the Asteri had left behind for thousands of years. Don't forget Nesta had no problem killing Lanthys and Vesperus, two unkillable beings. She would not have struggled to kill the same Wyrm human Feyre killed.
Feyre may have killed a Middengard Wyrm, but Nesta killed the one on steroids.
y'all wanna talk about female characters serving cunt and yet some of you couldn't even handle nesta archeron...

What does producer!Nesta do when an actress calls in sick to film a porno? Why, she stands in of course! And what happens when her co-star is pornstar!Cassian? Well she's about to find out! WC: 2126 (the way this was supposed to be short lmao) cw: detailed smut, classic fanfic tropes, and whole lot of fictional nonsense
Pegasus Productions, a porn site that was founded by women, for women. And it’s the company Nesta Archeron was proudly an executive producer for these last eight years.
While some may be creeped out at the idea of working on a porn set or producing porn in general, she prided herself on the ability to look at the scenes in a strictly professional lens; this was no different from any other job that someone might work. She just happened to be dealing with people who were nude in front of a camera rather than in the office.
“Hey sweetheart, what’s with the long face?”
And she also happened to be dealing with Cassian.
Hired about three years ago at Pegasus Productions, he was instantly a favourite, not just with the viewers, but with crew and co-stars alike.
With his towering height and bulky build, he was a wet dream for many. Throw in his shoulder length hair, rugged features, smooth personality, and the way every one who did a video with him ended up screaming as they climaxed, Cassian had many eating out the palm of his hand.
Except for her.
Once again in a mood to draw something soft and gentle. 😴
Feyre in ACOMAF: "I can eat, drink, fuck, and fight just as well as I did before. Better even."
Feyre basically barges into her sisters’ (human) house, bringing along three huge winged Illyrians, and they’re trying to be hospitable—Nesta offers them food (good food that Feyre herself admits she would’ve loved when she was human).
And what do they do? They don’t eat it because "It tastes like ash in my mouth."
And when Nesta, rightfully offended, asks if they’re “too good for their food,” THIS is what Feyre says??? What the actual fuck, Feyre?
Where are your manners when Elain and Nesta are just trying to be good hosts???
