Hellp 🙏 We live in tents on the sidewalks of the streets. Let me tell you my story. I am Emad Saleh, 49 years old, and my wife, Nafin Saleh, 42 years old. We have two children, two and a half years old, Mohammed and Yusra. We live in the Gaza Strip, specifically in Rafah. I was blessed with my children after 16 years of suffering. Our joy was indescribable. We lived a quiet and beautiful life. I worked as an employee and my wife worked in a women’s beauty salon. When October 7 came, it was a big turning point in our lives. We lost our jobs and began to feel fear and terror for our children, whom we had always waited for. I was afraid for my wife. We remained in this state for two weeks. One night, the occupation bombed a neighbor’s house and our house became uninhabitable. My wife was injured by shrapnel in her feet. We were forced to flee at night with our children to a shelter for the displaced. We left our house with everything in it and began to suffer with the simplest things: sleep, food, cleanliness, milk, diapers, children’s toys, and privacy. We remained in this state for 6 months, and then the occupation asked us to leave Rafah. Here we were displaced. To Khan Younis and we became homeless and without a place. Some people hosted us in their tent until we found a place to take shelter in. We prepared a tent from pieces of cloth. So that we could sleep in it, you cannot imagine what we are going through. Please save us. Save my children. We are dying here from hunger. We cannot provide the most basic needs because we do not have any income. Please look at us with mercy. Help us.
