when your f/o or comfort character has access to the internet and payment methods, what do they buy? are they more utilitarian, or do you need to watch out for fifty small plastic ducks showing up on your doorstep?
do they have social media? if so, do they use it often, and how? think unintentional instagram model f/os and comfort characters vs dad-posters on facebook, and everything in between.

Hello! I'm far from an expert at plushie making, but it's been a super fun journey for me and I've seen some folks express interest in learning to do this themselves. Now, that said, this is not actually really a guide to how to make plushies. This is a starter pack of resources that I found helpful to get me started! The most important thing is being willing to go look for resources, but it is intimidating at first because...where do you even start? That's the question I aim to answer!
This was one the first videos I watched - this will help you understand what it takes to get started. There's also an entire playlist with even more details associated! I only watched the intro vid because I was raring to go. Because of this video, I decided to work with anti-pilled fleece initially, due to the fact that minky is stretchy and that complicates matters. Fleece is also cheaper and in my experience easier to find in a store.

What position do you and your F/O(s) sleep in at night? Is someone eagle-spread out across the bed taking up room? Does someone have to roll over five different times before their comfortable? Any blanket thieves? Maybe one of yall is used to sleeping in a bigger bed so if/when having to sleep in a smaller on they accidentally roll off of it/kick the other one off?

Absolutely! Here are some ideas for you:
♡ Take your f/o out on a date. Consider taking a plush of them or writing about a date idea and doing it! Take them out for food! What would they order? Would they pay for you? Where are you gonna go? Or maybe take them to a movie! Or the zoo! The world is yours~
♡ Make playlists! It's a great way to indulge. Make a playlist of songs they like and a playlist of songs you like. Combine them! Mix your tastes! Make a playlist of songs that remind you of them and a playlist of songs that remind them of you! Make a playlist for your relationship!
♡ Quizzes! Eeeeep! One of my personal favorite ways to indulge in my f/o! He's not particularly interested in them, but I love to take the same quiz and compare our results. Poetic quizzes, fun quizzes, silly quizzes... They're all great!
♡ Pick a series to get into together! A show, or maybe a book, or a game! It could be something your f/o likes, or perhaps just something you like! Either way, I'm sure they'd be delighted to get into something new with you.
♡ Saved or bookmarked videos that you think your f/o would find funny or remind you of them! That way, you can look back at it and giggle.
♡ Go shopping together! Matching outfits! Matching plushies! If you've got a little extra money on hand, it's a great way to get something for you and your beloved that you can share.
♡ Does your f/o have any hobbies? Try getting into them! Then it can become something you can both share!
♡ This one may seem a little silly, but if you have someone willing to participate, ask a friend to send you a message from your f/o over a social media platform! My personal favorite has always been Snapchat - especially when it comes to drawing! It can lead to some silly messages!
♡ Headcanons. Oh my goodness, the way you learn about your f/o when you begin to headcanon everything about their day-to-day life. What's their handwriting like? Do they have messy habits? Do they want to be the passenger, or do they wanna drive you around? Perhaps they have a favorite beverage or drink! Or maybe they aren't sure! Do they have a favorite spot in your house? A favorite place where you live? Even the smallest things become beautiful when you consider what it would be like if you were living with them~
Self shippers who are comfortable with PDA:
Imagine your protective romantic f/o noticing other people staring at you, or even themself. Not a negative, judgemental stare, but more like an objectifying stare as if they're attracted to you (or your f/o). You don't notice, but your romantic f/o does. Regardless of who they're looking at, the possessive urge takes over your f/o.
Maybe your f/o is the silent, intimidating type. They wrap their arm around you protectively, or they give you a kiss on your cheek or forehead, all while maintaining eye contact with the people staring. The sudden affection takes you by surprise a little, but you love it nonetheless.
Maybe they're more subtle, so you feel them intertwine your fingers with theirs. They give your hand a squeeze, turning to you with a soft expression.
Maybe your f/o isn't the physically affectionate type, and instead they choose to say something to the people staring signifying your romantic relationship with them, explicitly claiming you as theirs.
Or maybe, they do all of the above!
Either way, you see how your f/o takes any opportunity to display their love for you, publicly claiming you as theirs, in many verbal and non-verbal ways. They love you so much, and they'll take any opportunity to show that to the world!
