ok i've been meaning to make an introduction post so this is that

hi i'm breezy and i'm a boring person. i draw sometimes and i'm a lesbian and yeah there's not much for me to say. if you're looking at my page then cool! i hope you like it!

i'm not an avid browser on tumblr, so i don't really reblog, like or follow on this account much. mostly i just pop in most days and post something.

this blog is multifandom, i just post about whatever niche fandoms i like. feel free to send me asks about my interests or whatever else, i like to talk when someone asks me to!!

also here's my dni list

  • basic dni criteria.
  • terfs dni
  • proshippers dni

and that's about it. i'll add anything if i think of something, but overall i don't have specific discomforts.

uh thanks for looking at my page

i did some quick drawings of everyone from both games to celebrate reaching 500 followers on twitter! because of tumblr's file size limit, i had to split the image in half - the full version is on my twitter. tomorrow i'll be posting the dra characters!

here's the last of my void pokemon drawings - mikado! he might be the one that gave me the least trouble team wise... pretty quickly i had in mind which pokemon i wanted for him. volcarona was the one i was most indecisive with, though - i knew he should have at least one sun-inspired pokemon, which left me with a lot of options, but volcarona and solrock were the main two i considered. visually, solrock gets the idea across better (and i thought that if i ever consider doing more of these drawings, sora could have lunatone so they'd parallel each other...) but if i didn't pick volcarona, there wouldn't be a single fire type here. that felt wrong lol. anyways, honchkrow! i picked it not only as a reference to monocrow, but also cause its nature fits mikado well. honchkrows are merciless leaders that punish their murkrow minions for any mistakes or betrayals. they leave the flock of murkrow to do most of the dirty work, only ever dealing the finishing blows themselves. a lot of behavior reminiscent of mikado. lastly, porygon-z. i wanted one of mikado's pokemon to be a reference to him being an AI! the porygon line was the first that came to mind for that. since porygon-z is not only an AI but also one that isn't following its coding properly, i thought it was a good pick. i would've liked to get more fire-types on mikado's team, but since i limited myself to 3 pokemon per character, i put matching mikado's character over keeping type consistency. that's all, though! it's been a long time since i've drawn pokemon, and i always like drawing the voids, so i enjoyed making these! if there's an interest in seeing some for other dra/sdra2 characters, i'd be happy to do more! (but i can't say i have many ideas for teams... y'all are free to send me some if you do!)

almost done posting these pokemon drawings - time for iroha! obviously right away i knew she needed a smeargle. she's a painter, so she gets the painter pokemon. the other two took me longer to settle on, though... in chapter 6 when iroha is talking about her backstory, she emphasizes how acknowledgement from her parents and the rest of the world was what she wanted most, her blessing from divine luck being described as that of "attention" - for that reason, i thought mimikyu was a good fit, since it imitates pikachu to receive the same adoration it does. also, i wanted one of iroha's pokemon to be a little more dark to allude to her role as a void! as for whimsicott, i picked it simply cause it looked nice with her and i wanted a grass type lol. i initially wanted her to have mostly grass types, but i only managed to get one... woops. i don't have anything else to say for iroha... so tomorrow, i'll be posting mikado!

alright, posting the next one of these - here's nikei!

nikei was the one i struggled with the most when picking teams... i had a lot of options in mind, but i didn't know which 3 would be best to keep. i think the other voids had themes that were easier to work with... regardless, i'll start explaining how i landed on these three! i mentioned on hajime's post that i had considered giving him banette, but part of why i didn't was because i had banette in mind for nikei as well. banette is a pokemon that lives out of hatred, driven solely by a want for revenge... i thought it was a good way to reference nikei's hatred for mikado in his team. additionally, its pre-evolution, shuppet, is said to seek out people who are envious and vengeful... i don't have as in-depth reasoning for the other two picks, though. nikei is never escaping the catboy allegations, so i wanted at least one cat-like pokemon on his team. and liepard was an easy option for that, since its name is just a portmanteau of "lie" and "leopard" lastly, absol - which was mostly an appearance-based pick... that swoop of fur on its face, esp in its mega form (hence why i drew it instead), reminded me of nikei's hair LOL. beyond that, i knew i wanted a dark-type for the last slot (idk... i just got the vibe that nikei would have primarily dark-types...), so absol helped with that. there's some other small reasons i went for absol, but they're not really worth going over...

that's all for nikei! i was very indecisive when putting his team together, and i think some of the other ones i was considering might've worked better, but... i didn't wanna stay stuck on him, so whatever. i'll be posting the next one tomorrow!

hi i've got another one of these pokemon drawings to post - today, it's emma! like i did with hajime, i'll go on and explain a little about my picks for her team...

immediately i knew froslass was a must have. it's based on the yuki-onna - the same yokai that emma imitated in the chapter 2 case - so i had to pick it.

because of persian i couldn't keep a consistent type with emma's team, but i just thought it made sense to it have there... persian is like, the symbol of wealth in pokemon. (persian also exposed the fact that i cannot draw animals... don't look at it too long, it's wonky) i still wanted emma's teams to be mostly ice types (for... reasons. you all know why lol) so for the last one i picked aurorus! i thought it fit emma's aesthetic... and its signature ability is refrigerate, which was funny to me.

that's all i have to say about emma, and i'll be posting the next one tomorrow!

i felt like drawing pokemon, but i wanted to draw the voids, so i doodled both. thought it'd be fun to draw them with some pokemon they could have if they were trainers !

i'm gonna be posting the drawings with some explanation behind my picks over the next couple of days - first up is hajime! teams generally have 6 pokemon, but it'd take me awhile to draw these if i wanted to do that many, so i kept it to 3 per character. i didn't spend long looking through pokemon either, so i'm sure there's some better picks i passed over - for hajime, though, even just sticking with fighting types gave me a lot of good options.

hitmonchan was an obvious choice... there's not many pokemon based on boxers, and hitmonchan is the one that is most blatantly a boxer, so it was the best pick for hajime's team.

i picked pangoro since it's based on delinquents! i thought it'd be nice to have that callback to hajime's younger years.

due to hajime's execution and void theater appearance, i wanted a pokemon with plush inspirations as the last pick, but i had a hard time deciding between bewear and banette for this. banette being an abandoned plush come to life complimented hajime's backstory, so i think it would've been the better pick, but for a group of reasons i went for bewear instead... primarily that bewear let me keep the fighting type trend of hajime's team, and i already had banette in mind for another void's team... oh and i made bewear shiny just to fit it in more with hajime's colors.

that's all i have to say about hajime's team! i loved pokemon a lot when i was a kid, but i haven't really drawn any in ages, so i hope they look alright haha.
