Stan and Ford cuss a lot (ok, Ford not as much as Stan but yk) but they try to filter themselves around the kids. So when something happens (for example Stan stabs his toe or Ford tinkering with an invention which isn't going well), they'll cuss. BUT. When the kids are around they'll cuss in different languages. Ford in alien languages he learned during dimension traveling and Stan probably in Spanish. Dipper takes it upon himself to decode the words they're saying and then saying them to Mabel, so at some point when either of the Stans curses infront of them, Dipper and Mabel will gasp jokingly as if they're on a reality show.
