Yes, I agree it’s bad. I never said it wasn’t. but what I’m saying is instead of harassing them maybe we could tell them to get some actual help. It’s one of the many mental illnesses that people are too afraid to ask for help for because whenever they do they’re just bullied for it.

To be quite frank, it is not my job to help them nor have I gone out of my way to interact with pedophiles so I absolutely don't harrasass them (they went on my blog and many of my mutual's to comment and reply with insults)

If they have an issue, it's their job to fix, not the rest of the world's. Every single person has a right to dislike and be disgusted by pedophiles and zoophiles, because let's be honest here, nobody knows a good pedophile or zoophile getting help.

In just the small town I grew up, there were 4 men that got caught touching kids in the church I grew up in, I knew those men (my younger sister did as well) and interacted with them weekly - that's horrifying.

One of my mom's ex-husband's coworkers who I interacted with nearly everyday raped a kid that was my age when I left that town - that's horrifying.

The girl that assaulted me a year ago liked me because I looked 14 at 18 and would harrasass actual 13-16 yearolds for sex (about 17 kids, this was not a fun event) when she was 18 nearly 19, she also was grooming an actual 8th grader into being her boy friend for years and was waiting till he turned 18 - that's horrifying

None of those people tried to stop themselves or get help, they took it out on kids. They don't tell people they're a pedophile because they dont want to get caught doing what they're doing not because they want help

I am really, truly sorry you had to live through that. There are many terrible people in this world, yes. But I believe in helping everyone including victims of these sorts of things. I don’t believe in redeeming those who have acted upon it, no, but I do still have a semblance of hope for the ones who struggle with this illness and haven’t acted upon it yet. Redemption is a tough thing- and no, I don’t believe it’s a ‘cure-all’ for these things. Some people cannot be redeemed whatsoever, or they just don’t want to be. But I still want to help them, and if you don’t believe in their ability to redeem themselves that is alright by me. I respect your beliefs and I do hope you have a wonderful evening.
