The ASC persona chart is the extended chart of your natal ascendant. It shows you the bigger picture of your personality & how you are perceived by others (usually in a non professional sense, but rather personally). In a way, I like to think of the ascendant persona chart as how we really show up in other people's eyes, compared to our natal chart. The ASC PC conveys how people see your true self while the MC PC tells you your "career" persona.

How to find Ascendant persona chart? Masterlist

Any planet in the 1st house directly translates into your features as well. Aside from the "image you have".

Any planet in the 3rd house shows what you talk (or sing) most about. It's also what people will talk or say most about you.

Any planet in your 5th house represents your love life & creativity as well as how people perceive it (mostly how they see you act around it)

Any planet in the 7th house tells you about your relationships & how it may be perceived.

Any planet in the 12th house can point to troubling aspects about you as well as hidden attributes that aren't as talked about or at least what people think are. It also enhances talents (especially if there is Jupiter or Neptune here) or attributes you may naturally have.

What each planet here represents

The MC's significance

The Midheaven in the ascendant persona chart represents what people notice the most about you i.e your personal impact or key traits that people tend to associate you with. Planets within them will give you more content into what that could be. It's also what people look up to you about. The context depends on the sign & house.

For example;

Ariana Grande' s MC is in Virgo at °27 (Gemini) degree. She's most adored & praised for her work as a singer. (Her voice, her songs, her work)

This was actually one of the hardest decisions I’ve made in a long time, I can’t even lie

1. The Shortest Straw - Metallica

Between this one and Eye Of The Beholder by Metallica, it was definitely hard choosing a favorite. I actually got a QR code for a video of a live video of Metallica performing this song for Christmas and it was awesome.

2. Lacquer Head - Primus

This song makes me dance to be honest, the bass is fun to play in this song, I actually like singing with the song, the chorus is always stuck in my head, and Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit produced this song!

3. Seven Cities of Gold - Rush

This is off of a less popular album of theirs, Clockwork Angels, but something about this song makes it so that the song is stuck in my head for at least a week after listening to it. It’s something I definitely want to learn on bass soon.

I periodically retake the 16personalities test, just out of curiosity to see what results I get. For the past few years I’ve recorded the percentages, and it’s interesting to see how they change.

12/26/19: Introverted – 82%, Intuitive – 58%, Feeling – 51%, Judging – 58%, Turbulent – 85%

4/?/19: Introverted – 94%, Intuitive – 66%, Feeling – 54%, Judging – 60%, Turbulent – 89%

11/6/17: Introverted – 83%, Intuitive – 78%, Feeling – 58%, Judging – 65%, Turbulent – 83%

And the first time I ever took the test I got ISFJ. I’m not really sure the when that was… I know for sure before 2014, probably closer to 2011-2012. The test has been updated/changed at least once or twice since then. Those results were: Introverted – 27%, Sensing – 2%, Feeling – 29%, Judging – 4%. (I think with the way result percentages are recorded now, they would be: Introverted – 77%, Sensing – 52%, Feeling – 79%, Judging – 54%)

Here’s this year’s results! It thinks I’m INTJ lol.

Harry Potter MBTI 🧙‍♂️

I have seen many posts about Harry being ISFP, but I think he is ISFJ!!

@oiblackestsheep it's very interesting as well, why do you think he might be ISFP?

So, I definitely will preface this with a disclaimer that I have a NOTORIOUSLY terrible memory for movies/shows/characters, etc., which is why I don't often type characters - if I didn't literally experience the story yesterday, I will not remember, lmao. With that being said, take my thoughts as grain of salt on this stuff!

We definitely agree that he's an introvert, so there's not MUCH to have to go over for that - he takes plenty of moments for reflection that are necessary for him to maintain his mental footing, and he really only ACTUALLY has close relationships with Ron and Hermione (rip Ginny lmao 💀)

More than anything, I think I observe a lot of high Se with Harry, which is why I think he's at least an ISxP. He reacts to situations as they arise (and quickly!), and usually only considers the relevant information that's right in front of him, which is great at solving the problem he's experiencing right now, but sometimes causes a completely new problem to surface immediately after - rinse and repeat until he either figures out all his shit, or someone else steps in lmao. He's pretty observant, which I think is a very slept on high Se trait tbh. In general, I don't think that I would consider these traits at the top of the list when it comes to strengths that ISFJs naturally have, but that's just me (if any ISFJs are reading, feel free to weigh in here!)

As for Fi vs Ti, ehh, tbh I could see an argument made for both! And unfortunately, my memory of his character starts to fail me a bit since I don't remember exactly WHY he chooses to do what he does, just HOW, which I more often attribute to high Se. Also, I didn't read the books lmao.

I know that @personality-corner has nice post breaking down a few examples of his use of Fi and Se - since you're the de facto MBTI character typologist, would you care to spare any additional words? 🙏😫
