Blog Lore (my ass attempt at explaining everything)

I wanted to make this for the sake of keeping everything in line and whatnot with the fic this blog is based on.

As some of you might know, Riiko and this blog as a whole is based on my fic “May I offer you an egg in these trying times” and the sequel “the ordeal of being you”. Im currently in the process of rewriting it, so only the rewrite will be considered canon to this bc I’m changing a lot of shit. Mainly making emperor less of a dick (redemption wooo!). It’ll be a lot less sad then the original but still a bit of angst.

In short, Riiko Ida is Pearl and Marinas biological oopsie baby who was born shortly after Grand Fest. Riiko is 13 at the time of the ask blog, so it takes place a short time into the future.

((Dante! I’ve mentioned him a few times but finally got around to actually drawing him))

((He was the original lead singer of takedown, and the one who wrote most of their songs. He left the band after being offered a job at shellendorf institute, leaving Kakura to take charge as lead singer. He’s happy with his new, more slow-paced life, but still hangs out with the band whenever he has the time.))

((I do have an overly complicated tragic yaoi thing with him and Berry, but that’s for another time.))

“Mom special orders it from a place in splatsville that makes it the best.”

“Yea…my mama never was too fond of Shiver and Frye. They used to hang out a lot before I was born I guess, but my mama thought they’d be a bad influence.”

“Ive got enough money to just live off of it, but im not like my brother, i need to do something to feel worthwhile.”

”They’ve worked so hard to get the band to where it is…I don’t want to ruin all of that hard work by spoiling their reputation. I know people don’t like a nepo baby walking in and messing up everything.”

”did it with Dante and some college pals once, I’ve never seen a car explode like that.”

“She only picked up the guitar a few years ago. She’s always loved the rock and punk bands around here, so it’s no surprise she wanted to learn.”

“Callie doesent visit the city much, she prefers staying away from all the crowds and paparazzi. But Ponzu and Acht come over a lot and hang out!”

“We’ve been in the throwes of wedding planning. We’ll be getting married at a lovely venue in splatsville this fall.”

“Kakura sent me this, I guess takedown used to have a different lead singer (that blue ringed octo on the left) before Kakura became the singer. His names Dante and he apparently works at shellendorf now?”

“ Kakura calls him a huge nerd but if anybody sees him there tell him I said hi! Oh and tell him Kakura still thinks he’s a nerd.”

“It’s just an empty eye socket, so if I get hit or bump into something it hurts for like half an hour after. Someone once threw an auto bomb at it, that was the worst.”
