That was apparently Cass' last episode? Damn. What an absolute nothingburger of a character they gave Sophia Bush. I know the OTH fandom was super excited because all three of the main ladies have now been on the show.
I haven't seen any of Season 21 yet (waiting for Netflix) but I have been following along just enough. Cass seemed to exist solely to A) acknowledge the existence of polyamorous relationships, and B) have a thing for Teddy. And now the book is clearly closed on Teddy actually exploring the open marriage concept THAT WAS HER IDEA IN THE FIRST PLACE.
Two words for you: stunt casting.
