fascinating question…maybe it’s their random date night, because I can imagine Finnick would be gone on the weekends often enough that they can’t make consistent plans during those times, and also midweek date nights are just superior, that’s a fact. but also I feel like their options for actual date activities are probably intensely limited if they’re being forced to keep their relationship a secret, which it seems like they are, so maybe they’re just like. casually celebrating each other or something. I think they’d very much be one of those couples that’s constantly celebrating each other, Finnick’s so obsessed with her that I can see him being almost suffocating with just. the Items. the attention he gives her. and I think they probably can’t tell each other they love each other, and Annie would take it very seriously to show him how much she loves him and respects him (because who else does?).

anyway that’s my freakishly in depth answer to a simple question. sigh
