Artist & writer
Danny Phantom, Batfam, Legend of Zelda, Spideytorch, Trials of Apollo, Percy Jackson, Fantastic Four… I love a lot of things.

[ID: a digital illustration of Stephanie Brown and Cassandra Cain. They are tucked into the same zip-up hoodie with Stephanie's chin hooked over Cassandra' head. They are both smiling and blushing. The hoodie is lavender with a Batgirl insignia in the middle. End ID.]

Did you know they share batgirl like they would share a hoodie? Bc they told me that. They also told me that they're in love.

I have a Spideytorch + Fantastic Four AU and want to write a long origin fic for but I don’t have a lot of free time at the moment.

It’s another earth but I’m using a lot of 616 events as a base, although some are in a different order timeline wise. (There are characters I want to include that were introduced after my jumping off from 616 point.)

One part of me wishes I could read ALL of the main universe Fantastic Four comics before I start the origin story. I’ve read a ton, but certainly not all— not yet anyway. I want more canon quirks and lore things to tie in I guess. But that feels like me overthinking too much.

I think I’m really just scared of writing a longer story and fizzling out as I have in the past and never finishing it. That is one reason why I usually stick to one or two-shots when it comes to writing. 😅

But this story and universe lives in my head rent free. It’s up there hanging around and I just haven’t written or shared a lot of the details… yet? Idk

I have written short stories that take place after the origin story and I posted a couple of those, but these I suppose technically have spoilers for the yet to be written origin story.

It’s a whole thing. I wish I could just think it into existence I’d give you guys all the lore and how they got to the point they are at in those fics.

Can I just quit my jobs and write this Spideytorch + Fantastic Four novel length fic? Guess not.

Should I start it even if I might not finish it? I really want to.

spideytorch prompt: johnny and peter start dating, but they don't tell the rest of the f4 peter's identity as spider-man because they disapprove of him.

Johnny decides that peter has to win them all over before the big reveal, so he plays the perfect boyfriend - brings flowers the first time he meets them, compliments ben's cooking, talks to sue and reed about their research.

Peter has a lot of practice pretending to be a normal guy, but johnny isn't used to hiding anything so big from his family so he's really tense and awkward the whole time. He and peter also aren't doing their usual playful banter because they're worried it will give them away.

All this together gives off the impressiom that johnny is totally miserable in the relationship and that he's only dating peter because he thinks sue will approve of him.

Sue's feeling guilty because she realized that johnny hasn't really been hanging out with spider-man recently and she thinks it's her fault. So she sits johnny down one day when she thinks he's alone and tells him that he doesn't have to force himself to go out with peter just because he thinks that's what sue wants. She says that if he really likes spider-man, then he should just go for it.

Johnny is speechless at this misunderstanding.

Peter had been in the other room and had overheard the whole thing. So, being the little shit that he is, he comes storming into the room and points accusingly at johnny. "You're going to leave me for SPIDER-MAN!?" he wails dramatically, tears welling up in his eyes.

Sue's eyes go wide and she freezes up, feeling shitty because she had never meant for peter to overhear their conversation or to make him feel bad.

Johnny immediately cracks up, laughing so hard his stomach hurts, and peter keeps a straight face for only a few more seconds before he also starts laughing.

Sue is just sitting there, staring at them in confusion.

Then, Peter gets his laughter under control just long enough to wink mischievously at her and pull aside the neckline of his sweater to reveal the familiar red and blue costume underneath
