Hes 36, a forensic chemistry researcher and chemistry professor with somehow the biggest inferiority and superiority complex at the same time. He's a little vain and tends to neglect his health when deep into projects. He lives off of caffeine
His older brother Maxime was the clear favourite of their father Malik, who had him as an heir to the family business. Malik made it very clear he didn't care for Beau much at all, and it's left Beau with a desperation to be recognized for his achievements. He's very spiteful and he'd insist his father no longer dictates his life but he very much still lives by a need to prove something to Someone.
Hes completely skeptical of anything supernatural which is incredibly hilarious given he exists in a fantasy/horror RP and how entangled his family is in The Horrors. He'll figure it out eventually <3
His relationship with his brother is complicated and honestly they deserve their own post bc their trauma and personalities conflict in the most opposite ways that makes them misunderstand the other and it's perfectly tragic <3 I will make them communicate and reconcile eventually but first they have to get worse before I made them better
He denounced his father pretty much immediately after all his schooling had been paid for and took up his mother's maiden name as his last name. His relationship with his mother Hisana also deserves its own post but he does love her very much and is the world's biggest mamas boy. There's just a lot of complicated feelings and circumstances and Beau is avoidant <3 vulnerability is far too close to asking for help and not being 100% self reliant, and he's far too proud for that
