I painted this mostly digitally bc I am Scared but I might finish the irl painting some other time lol. I just wanted this to be chill and help me feel better about drawing. I made a daytime version of this one as well but it didn't fit the prompt so it's under the cut here 💕

New gothic horror themed DnD campaign just started but I've been drawing my gay little character and shaking him around in a jar for months at this point so it's probably time to post some of the pictures for real lol

He is based on the concept of "what if dnd monks were medieval european benedictine monks haha" but then I took it too seriously and invented 18 pages of parallel universe fantasy monasticism worldbuilding solely so this man could exist

His name is Brother Comfrey and he's repressed and reads too many books and is here to observe the wonders of the universe

My gift for HolRose for the book omens server gift exchange :) They asked for the lads in a historical time period I'm passionate about so of course I had to put them in Medieval Times again. They also asked for them helping out humans and maybe growing closer as a result and maybe becoming lovers, which I always love, so I had the idea of Aziraphale residing in a new Benedictine monastery and Crowley being involved with the cathedral builders and coming to visit him, which is what's going on in the first picture. The second one is me wanting to do a little bucolic scene impression of a manuscript drawing, and is them just hanging out having a nice time bc I always like having them be friends with benefits who know how much they love each other despite working at odds sometimes. I had the idea the manuscript drawing would be something Aziraphale would make while cooped up at his scriptorium desk as a memory of the last time he snuck outside to hang with Crowley lol.

I love drawing all the little historical details, so in the fist one you can spot Aziraphale's belt book, Crowley's cute outfit and glasses, and the cloister based on a real reconstructed one I visited in a museum, and in the second image you get my gold watercolor to mimic manuscript gold leafing, plus period accurate underwear that hopefully it communicates how much I love braies and hose lol.

I still posted this fully to tumblr because it's only mild nudity but these paintings are also up on Ao3 if you would like to give them some love there as well❤️ The prompt was wonderful and I hope you enjoy!

I have been working on doing an embroidery of the little woodcut Aziraphale from the first edition of Good Omens for a while but that's not done yet so I wanted to draw him as well lol. I love this guy! He doesn't have glasses in the original woodcuts but he didn't feel right without them so I added them, but I AM a huge fan of his little cold war spy bowler hat. More love for the first ever visual depictions of Aziraphale and Crowley pls

I'm in an Eighth Doctor Adventures server and ppl keep making cool fanart of my favorite book series and I felt left out lol

But I am still a big pretentious Dr Who fan in my heart even if I don't do fanart all the time. I keep hoping to be motivated and productive enough to draw DW things AND all my Good Omens ideas but either way I finally have the art confidence to draw the sicko book version Eighth Doctor pinup of my dreams that 17 yr old me would be proud of. Also if any gay freaks with weird bad taste are following me I think you should read dr who novels
