I really like your older mtc designs!!! I was wondering what was the inspiration between their designs/outfits and also what do you think they'd be doing when they're older like after all the main hypmic story is possibly wrapped up with?? to be honest, i've never really put that much thought onto how the following events would occur after the main story, let alone within mtc (๏ฟฃ ๏ฟฃ|||) i just wanted to see how they would look like with extra years at the time of first drawing them like that lol but i guess their everyday lives would be more relaxed and toned down compared to those past many years .. i got my hypmic hyperfixation back just recently after temporarily falling off from it for a while so maybe i'll find an even better answer for that at some point hehe
i don't have much to say about the outfits at the moment but you may have noticed the tags on samatoki and jyuto; rio passed it on to them as time passed at some point in between to express how much he values the team as a whole like a family and how much he trusts them with his life. since then, they both ensured that they would take good care of that trust ( ยด ฯ ` ) idk i just love their dynamic so much i just had to add that detail (i know rio usually carries one tag with him and i'm still not sure if that has any significant meaning lore-wise or if it's just a stylistic choice. either way, i like to think that the other one is just kept somewhere inside his shoe the entire time until he finally gave each of his tags away to both of them)
#elis got an ask#i kinda just gave up with samatoki's shirt due to how terrible i am when it comes to making up intricate details#so it's just vaguely a sea pattern#the camo shorts and the jacket tied around rio's waist was a gift from the two#samatoki will always try to add more variety to rio's appearance. i just know that man's been living off with just three shirts or somethin#adding white streaks on jyuto's hair was probably the best decision i've made in my life
