all of these people realizing timothée is cool as fuck as if all of his fans haven’t KNOWN this. i’ve been a fan since 2019 and all these people coming out saying they “got him all wrong” and “he should’ve been doing more podcasts and interviews like this” HE HAS!!! when he was on snl, when he talked abt his old modded playstation controllers, all of his childhood ‘lil timmy tim’ videos. THAT MAN HAS ALWAYS BEEN THIS WAY! he’s always been authentically himself.
hot take/theory: rudy pankow really left because of the show, not just because of his personal problems with the cast. he’s mentioned his issue with the show’s direction before (i lowkey agree but thats not my point) and i think his final straw was voicing his opinion to the directors and possibly being ignored? were personal issues part of it? maybe. if they were i don’t think that was his entire reason. he pushed through for years at this point, why let it get to him now? i think the tension throughout the cast on top of not loving the show as deeply anymore made him leave.
man the acolyte was so good because it was going farther with the idea that maybe the jedi isn’t perfect, they aren’t always the good guys. i loved it because thats life, things aren’t black and white. people who want and try to be good and can still do wrong, vice versa. but of course it got cancelled, we can never have good things.
