SORRY FOR THE LATE REPLY!!

I used Clip Studio Paint, and a few brushes depending on what I’m going for. Really scuffed but here you go,

(I must clarify that I did not make any of these brushes)

My Faith pieces are usually just done with simple lineart, lasso, and gradients. If you want the brush files then my dc is panoii :^)

If I was a mage in the dungeon meshi universe, I'd figure out how to enchant living paintings and then commission some artists to paint me a bunch of pictures of magnificent feasts. Then I'd rent out a gallery space and charge entry to my Magical Food Hall, where you can eat as much of anything you want and not experience any of the consequences. Think of the possibilities. I'm not just talking about calories and weight loss here. I'd have a painting of a bakery where gluten-free people can gorge themselves on bread and cakes and then leap out of the painting before the vomiting sets in. I'd have an ice cream parlor for the lactose intolerant. One painting is just called "The Allergen Feast" and is a table laden with things like nuts, soy products, shellfish, etc. I'd have a painting of a county fair with the most insane types of fried food imaginable. I'm planning an expansion, but first I gotta consult some religious experts to see if eating imaginary painted food that isn't kosher/halal is technically against the rules or not.

Hey! I think Gary’s a funny character despite everything; I don’t have many super specific headcanons about him, but I sort of imagine Gary with a southern accent for some reason LOL it could be due to the whole midwest gothic feel of the game in general

I also speculate that Gary wears sunglasses because his eyes look “abnormal” due to being a demon and all. The way I draw him is pretty standard, but I like to imagine his mouth opening up from his neck (that’s why I also draw him with a slight neck scar)

I was inspired by this one animation I saw on Instagram (if I find the op then I’ll edit this post!). Gary’s human mouth could be considered like.. a false one. I see his human form as mimicry in general.

As for the story, I think Gary didn’t really set his eyes on John Ward as a vessel until chapter 3. Then, he sort of just messed around with father Ward until he reached the underground of the daycare. He’s a taunter like that
