RE: Being Plural

I saw an answered ask about how to treat systems and wanted to head any shit off so, while we are happy to answer questions as spoons allow, please read this carrd (especially the "common courtesy" part) before asking.

Tags to Know

All these tags but the first two are on this post for ease of navigation (Tumblr search my detested), but it is the only post they are on to which they do not apply. More of my common or important tags will be added to this list as I think of them.

  • #citrus warning - all mature content, whether flagged or not
  • #no bones allowed - gore and blood
  • #/incoherent noises/ - original posts and reblogs I've added onto
  • #asked and answered - answered asks
  • #ask game - send any one of these at any time, just include a link to the post if it's been longer than a day or two
  • #fandom critical - me bitching about what I don't like about characters, canon, or fandom (usually fandom)
  • #not to be indigenous on main - me being indigenous on main
  • #my writing - snippets of, asks or games about, and ao3 links to my fic or WIPs
  • #landback au - my star wars landback au
  • #nickels' penny - my call of duty nikprice child oc and associated poll(s)
  • #the bastard children of bones riley - my call of duty au where ghost has over two dozen half siblings he never knew about
  • #lt lennie lynch - one of my cod ocs, arguably my favorite 😅
  • #river garden au - jiang yuan au for mdzs/cql
  • #xiong chunjian - main oc for mdzs/cql, basically an isekai'd self-insert

we need more embarrassed mu qing!! please!! I've been going feral over the concept ever since he was described to have a very difficult to hide blush

OH HE IS and feng xin takes advantage of it,

he loves taking mu qing's face in his hands and covering it with firm quick kisses until he gets absolutely red and flustered and can't form a single sentence. he treats him the way you treat a cat - it's just minding it's business and here you are petting it aggressively trying to communicate the love you have for that creature.

feng xin finds his blush endearing - you can't trust mu qing's words, can't even trust his actions but his flushed cheeks? red tips of his ears? hell yeah.

The Xianle quartet in the begining of TGCF is literally so funny to me as a concept.

Because it's literally these 3 guys who have disguised themselves from this 1 guy to go hang out with him. 2 of them know who each other is and also immediately recognised who the third guy is but don't have any proof to back it up. And the third guy also knows exactly who they are but he doesn't care and doesn't even wanna interact with them because he got beef with them.

Meanwhile the 1 guy they are disguising themselves from actually recognised them on sight because they absolutely suck at disguising themselves, but they're trying so hard and he doesn't want them to feel bad and they're also hanging out now so that's fun, he doesn't wanna ruin that.

HELLO???? THE SMILE ON FX’s STATUE I AM GONNA SCREAM

and THERE’S MQ POSING LIKE THE ABSOLUTE DIVA HE IS

ok since jk Rowling has picked a new woman of color to harass i feel the need to remind everyone that she's not doing anything strange or like. out of the ordinary. and that women of color (both cis and trans) have always had to fight to be acknowledged as real women in white society. like yes she is being transmisogynistic but she is also continuing a very long lasting racist & white supremacist tradition of denying women of color our womanhood.

The Imaginary Boyfriend

"I have a boyfriend."

Lan Qiren's knife slipped on the dinner plate with an ugly screeching sound. His brother let his piece of steak slip off from his fork, his mouth gaping at the sudden proclamation.

I understand that museums have to be dark because light can destroy fragile artifacts. That said, I’m always afraid to walk around the blind corners because what if there is a skeleton

Okay yes sometimes there’s a skeleton, I understand how museums work. But I mean what if it gets me

Fact: you can absolutely kick a skeleton's ass. You are a skeleton wearing biological power armor. Skeletons of adult humans typically weigh less than 30 pounds. You are in a superior weight class by orders of magnitude.

i wish someone had told me that when i was a kid and terrified of having to fight a skeleton

Having "a lot" of followers on tumblr is funny because probably 80% of them are ghost blogs who haven't been on here in like a decade.

It's like, no no, those aren't my followers, that's a graveyard! I'm the caretaker of a thousands of tombs. I love them, but they've been dead for seven years.

In case anyone finds it helpful because mobility aids are horrifically expensive and inaccessible…

And for those people who have access to mobility devices but might benefit from a second chair they can abuse without risking expensive damage…

Erik Kondo has made a website, Open Source Innovations, that details plans for DIY wheelchairs. These wheelchairs can be made from common materials like wood, plastic, and pvc. They are lightweight and can be custom fit to the user allowing from the same degree of movement you would get from a custom chair. And they are durable and easily repairable. (he has been stress testing his latest design by dropping it down stairs, dropping it out of a car, launching it across a driveway, and throwing it off a deck). Its 12lbs and I think he said its was in the $200 ish range for parts.

He also is working on cheap, open source, accessible designs for beach chairs, off road chairs, motorized attachments (think smart drive), and so on. Plus he skateboards in his wheelchair. Cool dude, helpful info, pass it on.

It's incredibly sad people have to resort to this, but it's a damn good resource. Use it. Spread awareness. Maybe one day people with physical disabilities won't need DIYs like this. But until then, reblog and share.

“There are three things all wise men fear: the sea in storm, a night with no moon, and the anger of a gentle man.” — Patrick Rothfuss

(the average cost of a wedding in the US is currently around $30,000)

Everybody in the notes thinking they’d be able to cater + reserve a large enough venue space for 100+ “close friends and family” (between both sides of the aisle) for anything less than $5,000 is exactly how this website accidentally created Dashcon.
