I was talking with one of my friends yesterday about TDPH ending and how we didnt like the alt timeline ending.

I’m not gonna walk you through how our process on how we got there but towards the end of it, we were like it would’ve been so much better if Sam just killed himself at the end 

Now listen, they know the afterlife exists. Like THEY WENT TO HELL. so this was the alt ending we came up with that we thought captured the comedy.

*cutscene of focusing on Sam’s hat as the camera slowly pans down. It keeps going down until it reaches the soul train where the door opens and Sam walks on. Max is seen in the train strangling Harry Moleman

“Jesus Sam, what took you so long? I was starting worried you chickened out on our reservations”

“Course not pal. I could go for some chicken right about now though…”

*the train takes off with a remark from Harry about being happy he’ll never have to deal with them again.

“Sam, you think we’ll get kicked out of hell like we did up there?”

“You crack me up little buddy.”

*boom that’s the ending

#very apprehensive when i first started reading#but#no this actually works really well#i think it works a lot better as a more conclusive end to sam and max#and also i liked the hell episode a lot
