everything about the wasps in bug fables is horrific if you think about it for more than a second. I mean there were probably dozens if not more wasp fatalities from the wasp king treating them so horribly but. those wasp’s loved ones might not even be able to tell or care until they weren’t under the crown’s control. am I making sense probably not but hear me OUT imagine you’re just a lil wasp fella and one day you just kinda start losing control of your thoughts and feelings, maybe you don’t have any idea of what happened during that time, and then all of a sudden you snap out of it and next thing you know everyone is Fucking Dead

They just couldn't resist the pun. I respect that ^^

#I love how he's first introduced as the imposing & powerful Wasp King#and from then on every morsel of info you get on him peels back the layers of his facade#He's not a real king#he's strongly suggested not to be a real wasp#and while he IS very much a threat#he is not in fact as unbeatable as he first looked#and after defeating him you look at his bestiary entries#and not only it's confirmed he's a wasp mimic fly#but his NAME is a pun on “hoax”#couldn't have asked for a better punchline#Oh by the way here's a bonus fact :#the devs confirmed he's specifically a thick-headed fly (specifically Leopoldius signatus )#which just so happened to be a species that parasitises wasps#fitting isn't?

It's very funny to me that Moonsprout apparently didn't intend for queer readings of their game and yet we all collectively agreed that Kabbu is gay and Leif is def not cis.

I think that was very sexy of us
