Shots were being fired. Both Maria and Nat had taken cover before shooting. Creating cover fire as Steve went straight in with the muscle. Wanda was throwing power balls until she saw a lightening blue streak in the corner of her eye. Causing her to freeze.
"WANDA!! LOOK OUT!" Steve yelled out. Wanda was only just quick enough to block a shot fired in her direction. She wondered who the lightening streak was. She knew Thor was off planet and Pietro was dead.

"There is an enhanced in the field." Wanda informed them. Luckily for them, Steve insisted on using the comms. Wanda watched as the Lightening Soldier stopped.
"Do you think it's the Lightening Soldier?" Nat asked as she continued to shoot.
"I think so. They have superspeed just like our intel said." Wanda said as she threw a power ball towards them. They dodged it running, faster than Pietro ever was. "They're faster than Pietro."
"Isn't this the weapon who has super strength too?" Steve asked as he took down an agent.
"Yes." Wanda and Nat both answered at the same time.
"Well let's catch them." Steve said as he moved through the agents. "If these agents are Hydra, we need to know if the heart of Hydra is still beating." All of them started to work hard until it was just the Lightening Soldier. Who had also started to attack both Nat and Maria.
Steve and Wanda were left to take care of the agents on their own while Nat and Maria fought as though their lives depended on it. The Soldier had managed to get Nat pinned on the ground. All Nat could see was their eyes. The rest of their face was covered by a mask.
"Y/N?" Nat whispered as she was getting choked. She noticed the same red line going through the left blue iris. Soon coughing and gasping for air as Maria had distracted them. Nat then doing their whistle. The one Y/N taught her.
Y/N was sat with both Nat and Yelena in Yelena's room. She woke from having a nightmare and both Nat and Y/N were fast enough to go to her.
"You left us." Yelena cried as she hugged Y/N. "We couldn't find you. We thought you were dead."
"I won't ever leave you Lena." Y/N cooed as she rubbed Yelena's back softly. Reassuring her. "I will always be here."
"How can you promise that." Yelena cried as Y/N thought about an idea.
"How about we come up with a signal. Some tune that only we know." Y/N said. "It can be something that we can use to be found or if were scared. All of us will come running and whistle too. Just so you know we are here." Yelena and Nat both nodded. Waiting patiently as Y/N came up with the tune. Being awake throughout the rest of the night, learning it.
Wanda was fast enough to lock Y/N inside her own mind. Nat was sat on the ground. Looking over at Y/N's unconscious form. Her heart pounding inside her chest.
"She's alive." Nat whispered as Maria helped her up to her feet. "Y/N is alive." She held tight onto Maria's hand.
"Let's get her back to the compound." Steve said as he picked her up. Maria and Wanda heading to the hotel to collect their things and check out of all four rooms while Steve and Nat went straight to the Quinjet they sent for.
"Is that?" Bruce asked as Steve placed Y/N down.
"Do you still have those cuffs that they had made for Wanda?" He asked as Bruce nodded. Grabbing them from the cockpit and handing them over. Nat watched as Steve placed them on her wrist as she removed the mask.
"I don't remember her having a scar." Nat whispered before Maria and Wanda joined them.
"They must have got it when they were with Hydra." Wanda stated. "As I remember my time with them. Even though we volunteered, they still weren't very hospitable to their test subjects."
"Didn't you say she also trained Pietro?" Nat asked as Wanda nodded.
"But I never met her. She wasn't needed to train me since our powers were different." Wanda told her.
"I just hate that she has been here all this time and we didn't even know about it." Nat whispered.
"When we arrive, Wanda and I will take her to the cells. Nat, you and Bruce grab all of the equipment he needs to do a check up on her." Steve said as the jet was in the air.
"What if she doesn't remember." Nat asked them.
"She will Nat. When she is stable enough, Bruce will do more scans and hopefully if it is medical he can help." Steve told her.
"And if it's not medical?" She asked him.
"Then I will try and bring her back Nat." Wanda told her softly. Wrapping an arm around her. Nat nodded as she kept her eyes on Y/N. The Lightening Soldier finally caught after all of these years.

Today was the first day of school in the States. My family had just moved here, and everything felt so... new. The air smelled different, the people looked different, and the way they spoke seemed almost like a new language, even though I knew English. Everything felt so unfamiliar, but I wasn’t nervous.
