Everyone has had that one movie that takes them straight back into their childhood, be it Monsters Inc. or Barbie In The Nutcracker. These movies are a reminder of the time when we were just a little younger and filled with joy.
to pay homage to these wonderful times, kflixnet presents our second event: childhood memories!

A clock ticks somewhere in the far corner of the room, off by the desk closest to the window, and you bring your eyes up to look over at the man sitting there. He doesn’t budge under your stare, although you think he’s well aware of it. A few seconds pass, more loud clicks in the room that echo off the walls and shelves, then you snap the book in your lap shut with a quiet huff.
“You’re awfully smug, aren’t you, cousin?” The question leaves your lips as you stand up from your little recliner. You don’t bother pushing the book back into its original place on the shelf; instead, you step over to where the man sits with the spine pinched into your palm.
“What? You don’t see the humor in how I must chaperone you while you carry out your banal little duties?”
“They’re hardly banal.”
“Perks of the bloodline, eh?” He clicks his tongue against the roof of his mouth and leans further back in his chair until he can throw his feet up on the edge of the desk. “Guess we wouldn’t have to worry about this if brother dearest hadn’t gone and croaked the way he did.”
Your lips fold into a deep frown, one that accentuates your upset at the man’s almost lackadaisical take on such a heavy subject. One quick glance at his downcast expression shows something far different than his tone, however, and you shake your head.
“Still blaming yourself, I take it?”
