Info You Might Not Know: A Charlie Brown Christmas was actually considered to be the SECOND LONGEST-RUNNING childrenโ€™s special on TV, just behind Rudolph for airing the longest once a year every year since 1965 ( More than 50 years!)

โ€ฆuntil Appleโ€™s bullcrap now ruined the streak/annual tradition!

Apple has now forced it along with the Great Pumpkin and Thanksgiving specials to only be on their app, which means all of the many families who canโ€™t afford to have the smart TVs that can play apps, only having the TVs that have cable, are now all screwed thanks to Apple!

But, If any of you want to bring the Charlie Brown specials back on public TV, you can actually sign this petition here:

You can also spread the hashtag I started on Twitter: #BringBackCharlieBrownOnTv

If any of you still want A Charlie Brown Christmas back on public TV, spread this petition, spread the hashtag, and spread the word!

Today marks 25 years since the final Peanuts strip came out in newspapers,

Marking the end to 50 years of a legendary comic strip by Charles Schulz ๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿฉท

In memory of Charles Schulz, the original creator of Peanuts ๐Ÿ™

He tragically passed away 25 years ago today, and may he continue to rest in pease, he will never be forgotten ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฉท

babe. I know weโ€™re all going thru a lot rn but I just wanna give u the heads up that sesame streets future is in jeopardy. hbo has chosen not to renew it for new episodes (a series that has been going since 1969) and the residents of 123 Sesame Street no longer have a home :(

n all seriousness sesame street is such an important piece of living media. it has been around for DECADES and from day 1 highlighted the importance of diversity empathy and education for children in a fun way. their mission statement is โ€œHelping Kids Everywhere Grow Smarter, Stronger, and Kinderโ€. itโ€™s been such an influence for so many people at a formative age. itโ€™s creators made it w the intention that it could be a resource for underprivileged kids and help them prepare for kindergarten. thousands of people have learned english from our friends on sesame. pls (at media corporations) donโ€™t let a beloved cultural phenomenon die
