PSA

Same drill as after Infinity War! I saw Endgame Thursday night 😨 and have started drawing things for it. However I will hold off posting anything containing spoilers until Tuesday. After that there will be spoilers on this blog. They will be tagged #endgame and #endgame spoilers, so you can filter them out (On mobile you can do this in Account / General Settings / Filtering). Please make sure to tag for spoilers when you reblog as well so the movie doesn't get spoiled for anyone! 💜💜💜 If you have any questions, just let me know!

I don’t usually post anything but art on here, but I need to talk about this because I see this happen all the time.

I came across my art reposted without credit on my Facebook newsfeed with over 320K shares. While it’s hardly the first time this has happened, this post blew up to a point where I came across it on my personal Facebook where I follow no Marvel or fandom related pages… I’ve reached out to the poster, asking them to credit, but never heard back.

And sure, it’s flattering that over 320,000 people shared my art, but it feels very hollow when someone else is benefiting from my work while the same post got less than 50 likes on my own (albeit pretty new) Instagram…  How hard is it to just add a link to where you found the artwork so the person who did the work gets the credit?

TLDR: Friendly reminder that stealing people’s artwork to pass off as your own post, hurts artists. Just ask first and credit properly!
