So here is the abomination I made ages ago:

Name: Malachite

Role (in game): Head Engineer

Gender: Female

Age: 27

LGBTQ Identity: Asexual

What to know about Malachite: Malachite is well-known for her high IQ level and her creative ideas that helped develop all sorts of mech for the agency. Her cyborg appearance was gained after a terrible accident with one of her dangerous creations that she had to create in a rush. With her brilliant mind and creative ideas, she does act stupid time to time (acts dumb, is smart you know?) She started working with the agency after they confirmed interstellar life as a threat and needed someone to help them develop more advanced tech and weaponry. Overall, Malachite is a very gifted gal but does have a very cranky and crazy personality. Just give her an ice cream sandwich and she will be more calm with you

I had this OC since 2021 but only shared her to my close online friends. Hopefully I can come up with a better reference sheet for her but I’m mostly busy with education… bleh

Sorry for not posting anything, I've been losing a lot of motivation and school has me on edge to make it to graduation and applying for art school is hard. Anyways, I hope y'all are doing well and drawing better than my motivation. I also think I can butcher drawing on a phone until I finally find a source to share drawings from different devices!!!

US federal employees will no longer be observing:

  • MLK day
  • Black history month
  • Women's history month
  • Holocaust Day of Remembrance
  • API heritage month
  • Pride
  • Juneteenth
  • Women's equality day
  • Hispanic heritage month
  • Disability awareness month
  • Native American heritage month

they've also shut down all affinity/resource/networking groups for minorities

HOWEVER. What that actually MEANS is that federal government employees get that day, or a makeup day, off.

It does NOT mean that the federal government is required to hold any kind of celebration for said holiday:

So what this appears to be to me, is an attempt to kill off the meaning behind these holidays; later they can change the law without much pushback.

However.

I would give it at least a week before you panic or fall into hopelessness, because:

  1. THIS IS STILL BREAKING NEWS AS OF TODAY, 30 JANUARY 2025. Nobody has had time to react to this properly; effective organization takes TIME.
  2. Many organizations are pushing back against Trump's executive orders and keeping them tied up in the courts. I'm sure someone will pick this one up as well.
  3. You can still celebrate these holidays in your personal life, and in fact you should! DON'T OBEY IN ADVANCE
  4. This executive order doesn't impact STATE government entities, since celebration of the holiday would be up to the laws governing their state. However, I would not be surprised if some states follow suit, and cancel celebrations where allowed by the laws of their state. So see what your laws are in your state, and see if you can support or attend a celebration from your state!

So... I got a new phone but I cannot use my pen to transfer and my other device I draw on is an apple product while my new phone is a Samsung... So expect while for me to find ways to transfer my drawings

I like to use my iPad to make my creations, so it may take awhile to find a way to transfer my drawings from iPad to this phone... Sorry for the delay in the art requests I received from messages, this is gonna take awhile
