glados raising the crows to eventually venture out to the surface as her eyes. she’s said that she had no idea what’s been going on up on the surface- so i feel it would make sense to use her little avian drones to do research for her.

she seemed to take on a ‘motherly’ approach when realizing she could use them for her benefit. but given her initial resentment for birds i don’t think she would feel bad experimenting on em and somehow figuring out how to make em a cyborg type deal. i just particularly like the thought of their eyes being replaced with cameras so glados can literally see everything they see when they venture out

at first she sent them out purely for research purposes- finally learning what exactly she’s been keeping out of her facility (headcrabs and antlions and so on)

then as she realized she had these tools to venture out wherever she wanted…. her mind starts to wonder what the mute lunatic has been up to…

i wanna draw the crows stalking chell at some point. perching innocently on her shoulders and head. the birds love being around her. they do their crow thing where they bring her little shiny gifts, and she feeds them fritos or somth
