I love Jimmy Solidarity as a character so much because he's so determined and ambitious. Man who the universe fucks over at every possible moment but who still has never backed down from a fight or challenge in his life. I know Jimmy has a reputation for being a bit pathetic, but I need people to understand that literally none of that comes from any sort of cowardice on his end. For better or worse, Jimmy Solidarity does not know what it means to give up or sit back.
pluuumeee your chikorita art is so adorableee
what are some of your other favorite pokemon? if you were a gym leader what would your pokemon team be?
thank you aaaaaa!!!!!
i always think of myself as grass/fairy type but my favourites are actually pretty varied hehe. if i had to draw myself with a team right now it'd be pyukumuku, chikorita, minior, snom, dratini and wooper :D with hoppip, morelull, surskit and milotic as honourable mentions hehe. i love my little guys and pretty sneks
so yeh sometimes i think i could totally make grass/fairy gym leader work but i'd miss my other little guys htxhfb
Hi Plume! Just wanted to say, I just got done setting up a character sheet for my first proper D&D campaign! We're probably gonna play our session 0 this weekend and I'm pretty excited! I'm gonna play a Tiefling Druid - and I just wanted to ask, since I know you've played/are playing a druid - any tips? Especially on creating a backstory? (Or just feel free to talk about your own little druid!)
my druid sibliiiiiiiiing <3 !!!!!!! that's so exciting :D !!!
backstories are hard but they don't have to be!!! the only really important thing is to have a reason for your guy to go out adventuring. it can be as tragic or silly as you want it to be :D they can be looking for a person from their past or maybe a magical artifact that was taken from them, be kicked out of their status quo for some reason, or just really REALLY romanticize life on the road. so don't feel the pressure to have a super elaborate (and potentially tragic) backstory :D a session 0 is a great time to put some of your ideas on the table and discuss with your DM <3 !!!
also a theme for your character's personality may help justify their actions. my little fairy druid is a chaotic and bubbly airhead who deep down constantly feels like there's something inherently wrong with her. it's not the most unique thing but it gave her a reason to leave her home and it helps me roleplay her a lot :D (and also connect her to some of my own issues with masking too much)
also a tip if you wanna go big into wild shapes with your druid: you can totally google lists of beasts by their challenge rating level, so you can always check those for some wild shape inspiration!!!
gkdfjgkjf i'm so excited for you and i hope you'll have a great time!!!!!!!!! never be afraid to ask your DM for help with any mechanics or character stuff!!!!!
YEAH!!! you don't have to think of everything by yourself >v< collaborative storytelling and all :D <3 <3 <3 !!!!
