There is very little to no coverage worldwide of what's been going on in my country for the past 4 months so I just wanted to raise awareness.

We've been under terrible and cruel government for years and years and the situation seems to be hopeless.

More and more young people are jobless and without any future prospects, everything is so corrupt that you can't even get a regular minimum wage job without connections. Femicide has always been a huge problem and the healthcare system is so corrupt that you're basically screwed if you end up with a serious illness.

The event that was the last straw for most of us:

The officials barely even addressed it and REMOVED THE EVIDENCE that could have shed light on the construction flaws. How heartless can you be? What kind of human being is capable of something like this?

I'm not much of a writer but I hope this article will inform the rest of the world about what has been going on. I know each country has its problems and you probably have enough of your own, but just raising awareness of this issue can hopefully go a long way.

it's about time we ended the reign of the evil wizard

people are comparing this to the US political situation, but I would like to bring to your attention that the Serbian president just ended his statehood day speech with, and I quote "I WILL DESTROY ALL OF YOU!", talking about the 100k+ people all around the country protesting against him

on march 15, the largest protest in serbia’s history took place in the capital, with some estimates ranging between 800,000 and 1,000,000 people on the streets. however, there were incidents of organized attacks on demonstrators—people were trampled, hit with stones and firecrackers, and tear gas was deployed. the most extreme action by the police was the use of a sound cannon (LRAD), banned by law in serbia, which then triggered a stampede. dozens of people were injured.

A man who attacks his own people cannot be allowed to lead them. PUMPAJ!!!!
