Why do you think there’s so few ghosts around? Why are most ghosts people who died violently? You gotta crack the bones to let the soul out. i think that killing a dragon should have catastrophic nuclear-fallout level environmental consequences tbh. their blood should scorch and wither the earth with fire and poison, the toxic fumes released as they decay should choke the land and all nearby living creatures, and the entire landscape where they fell should be transformed into a blighted wasteland where bleached leviathan bones loom upwards out of the ground as a warning that can be seen from miles away, the boundary markers of an exclusion zone.

literally insane to me how sera's entire philosophy is "revolution doesnt have to be organized or even particularly coherent. all that matters is reminding the aristocracy they are mortal and the common people that their power is contingent on our compliance" and the game just completely fails to find it thought provoking at all in fact you as the player are expected to find it juvenile and baffling there is no way to even humor her in her beliefs without an added disclaimer that the inquisitor still finds it all ridiculous and isnt really taking her seriously

My dog is friends with a merchandiser at TJMaxx.

We used to go to dog-friendly stores because our trainer recommended that we get him comfortable in a busy environment. We wound up going to TJMaxx twice a week or more, where he befriended a young (often very stoned) woman. That was two years ago.

Now we go to TJMaxx often and wander the aisles and I only know when this woman is close because his tail starts wagging and he starts screaming.

It’s to the point where she doesn’t treat me like a customer, she treats me like a coworker. Yesterday she was like, “thank god Christmas is over. We can finally put all this worthless shit in the clearance aisle.” Then she looked lovingly at my dog and said, “cant we, atlas?”

A proposal

Sometimes, in fandom, we just want to write id-tastic fic that rolls around in tropes that might be viewed as problematic. But we don’t want to address the problematic side of things in this particular fanwork; we just want to roll around and wallow.

It is considered courteous to give readers a heads-up via use of AO3 tags. I propose a tag that signals that a given fanwork is for rolling around, not giving a measured evaluation of anything. The MCU has carved out a space for this sort of fic with the “HYDRA Trash Party” tag, for which I commend them. Trash Party is a bit too specific to cover all of the ground I’m thinking of here, though; I propose “Dead Dove: Do Not Eat.”

For those of you not familiar with Arrested Development, Michael Bluth finds a paper bag in the freezer labeled “Dead Dove: Do Not Eat.” He opens the bag, finds a dead dove, and reacts as follows:
