WIP Game

Thanks @sincerelylancelot for the tag!

Rules: make a new post with the names of all the files in your WIP folder, regardless of how non-descriptive or ridiculous and tag as many people as you have WIPs. People send an ask with the title that most intrigues them, then you post a snippet or tell them something about it!

OK so I did this at the end of Jan and I've removed the ones that I'd already answered asks on from that round. You can still ask about those, they're just on the other list (is this so I look less insane? perhaps).

  2. Luminous Fall (SF Lestappen AU)
  3. Flickering Lights - Lestappen

“Um, Suguru, we don’t have to work together. I know you usually do all your assignments alone.” You nervously fiddled with the straps of your backpack as you stood in the hall outside the lecture room.

Suguru stared at you, and something inside him sparked. “No, it’s fine; we can work together. I trust you’ll do your part, right?” he asked, mustering up a confidence he never knew he had.

“Yes, of course! I’m not one to fail a class.” You furrowed your eyebrows as you finally looked up at him.

“Great! We’ll be perfect partners then.” He smiled softly before walking away.

“Damn, I didn’t even get her number…” he murmured to himself, realizing that might have been the first dumb mistake he had ever made.

i genuinely believe if bakugou wounded up in bluelock he’d blast the entire place up by how weird everyone acts.

“WHAT THE FUCK.” when he sees bachria play (mostly bc of how crazy he seems). He’d think isagi is the similar to izuku. He’d fight with baro. He’d tell nagi he’s too lazy. He’d think chigiri looks like a girl, would openly mistake him for a girl.

Anyways that’s just my opinion.

JUST THAT GIRL popstar!sakusa kiyoomi x f!reader

Chapter 1: JUST THAT GIRL

contains: drinking , profanity.

Sakusa finally returned to his home state after an exhausting string of tours and meet-and-greets left him both exhilarated and drained. He longed for nothing more than to sink into the comfort of his bed and lose himself in a deep, restful sleep. Twilight screened through the curtains, casting a cooling glow in his room, making it seem like the perfect refuge for a much-needed break. However, his plans for a peaceful slumber were swiftly interrupted by his best friend, Atsumu. Currently enjoying his summer vacation from college, Atsumu had a notorious knack for stirring up spontaneous adventures, and tonight was no exception. With a mischievous grin and a never-ending supply of energy, he arrived ready to drag Sakusa out for a night of fun and laughter, oblivious to his friend’s desperate wish for a long nap.

“Dude, just come to the bonfire! It’s going to be super chill,” he urged, tossing a soft throw pillow in the direction of the dark-haired man lounging on his bed. The flickering light from the nearby lamp illuminated the playful mischief in his eyes.

Sakusa sighed heavily, the weight of the world resting on his shoulders. “Look, I come home to unwind and take a break from all the socializing. Why are you trying to drag me into a gathering with people I don’t even know?” he groaned, sinking deeper into the comfort of his blankets.

“C’mon, Omi! It’s literally just me, Osamu, Suna, and Suna’s cousin along with her best friend. It’s not like it’s a massive party,” his friend replied, rolling his eyes at his friend's dramatics, a grin spreading across his face as he tried to ease Sakusa’s reluctance.

“Do Suna’s cousin and her friend know who I am?” Sakusa pushed himself off the bed with evident reluctance, his curiosity piqued despite himself.

“Nah, Kiko and Yn don’t even listen to the kind of music you play. Not everyone is obsessed with the famous Sakusa Kiyoomi, you know,” he laughed. The casual banter did little to alleviate Sakusa’s apprehension, but a tiny spark of interest flickered within him.

“You make me sound so self-centered,” Sakusa snapped, his dark eyes narrowing into slits as he shot a piercing glare at the fake blonde.

“I guess that’s just what fame does to someone like you,” Atsumu teased with a mischievous grin, his eyes sparkling with playful mischief.

-

After several hours (minutes) of persistent persuasion, Atsumu finally convinced Sakusa to join him for a night out. Sakusa reluctantly agreed, but only on the condition that Atsumu would grant him two days of peace afterward—a deal he deemed more than fair.

As they stepped out of Atsumu's sleek, vintage Porsche, the moonlight glinted off its polished surface, reflecting the car's classic charm. Atsumu, with a smirk, had playfully declared it “very vintage,” and indeed, the aged beauty had character that made it stand out.

They headed up toward the tall, ornate gate that led to the expansive backyard, their surroundings of rich blossoms. As the gate swung open, a breathtaking view fanned out before them—the ocean sprawled endlessly, its waves glittering like diamonds under the moon. Atsumu, noticing Sakusa's uneasy glances, reassured him with a confident grin. “Don’t worry, none of your fangirls will be lurking around here.” The promise hung in the air, a welcome comfort as they stepped into the serene embrace of private paradise.

It had been a while since Sakusa had visited a beach or had the chance to enjoy the salty ocean air. As he and Atsumu approached, Sakusa could see everyone's faces more clearly. He noticed Suna and Osamu arguing about how much wood to add to the fire. Then he spotted two girls; one looked remarkably similar to Suna, and the other was you.

“Hey guys!” Atsumu said. Sakusa waved briefly and smiled at everyone, noticing that the girls weren’t really paying attention to him. As much as he appreciated the peace, it felt a bit strange.

“Yo, Sakusa! It's been a minute; how are you?” Osamu got up from the wooden log he was sitting on and greeted Sakusa with a hug, which pulled him out of his thoughts.

“Good, man! Nice to see your face again.” Sakusa leaned in for the hug, catching a whiff of the burnt wood that clung to Osamu’s clothes.

“Hey, bro, come on! Let me introduce you to my cousin and her friend,” he heard Suna calling him from behind Osamu.

“Alright,” Sakusa shrugged, not really minding.

-

“Okay, so this is Kiko, my cousin who looks strikingly similar to me. Kiko, this is Sakusa,” Suna laughed at Sakusa's wide-eyed expression. Now that he was seeing Kiko up close, he noticed just how much they resembled each other—from the eyes to the hair to their facial features.

“You guys look so much like twins,” Sakusa murmured, still shocked by it all.

“We get that a lot,” they replied in unison, which made you let out a loud yet cute laugh that caught Sakusa's attention.

“Not funny, Yn,” Kiko giggled, her laughter spilling out uncontrollably as a result of your own laugh. Sakusa’s intense gaze was still firmly fixed on you, his dark eyes portraying a hint of curiosity mixed with amusement.

“Sakusa, this is Yn—Kiko’s best friend since her freshman year of college,” Suna introduced you, gesturing slightly in your direction with an inviting smile.

“Nice to meet you,” you replied, your lips curving into a warm smile as you met his gaze.

“Nice to meet you too.” Sakusa responded, a subtle half-smile forming at the corners of his mouth, which made your heart flutter unexpectedly.

“Alright, everyone, I’m off to grab some beer. See you in a minute!” Atsumu announced, his tone echoing with the enthusiasm of a frat boy.

“You’re taking me with you this time. You always pick the terrible beer, Tsumu,” Osamu chimed in, cutting off his twin with mock exasperation.

“Seriously, stop acting like you’re some kind of beer expert,” Atsumu shot back, rolling his eyes dramatically under the soft glow of the fire.

“I don’t need to be a beer expert to recognize that the kind you choose is absolute garbage.” Osamu deadpanned, laughter bubbling up from the group as his twin made a face.

“Whatever, let's just get going,” Atsumu sighed, throwing his hands up in defeat, and signaled for Osamu to follow him out.

“Kiko, since they’re getting the beers, come help me get the snacks from the house. I don’t want another throw-up-in-the-sand incident like we had with Atsumu.” He recalled the memory, shivering at the thought.

“Ew, me neither! That was so gross,” she said as she walked toward Suna, leaving you and Sakusa alone.

“Do I even want to know what that was about?” Sakusa turned to you with a concerned expression.

“Let’s just say Atsumu went a bit overboard during fall break,” you replied, shaking your head as you remembered the events.

“I’m not even surprised, just disgusted,” Sakusa sighed, clearly exasperated by his friend's foolishness.

You let out a slight laugh, but it just hung in the air awkwardly for a moment as Sakusa wondered why Suna didn’t ask him to help bring out the snacks, leaving you with someone you knew instead.

“So, what’s your major?” he blurts out.

“Uhm, pre-med,” you answer, slightly startled.

“Ah. How’s that going?” He stares at the fire crackling, trying not to look at you out of his own nervousness.

“It’s good; I enjoy it. I’ve been set on this since high school…” You smile, remembering the moment you first fell in love with the medical field. Sakusa didn't notice, too nervous to meet your gaze.

“I see… that’s nice.” He turns his attention to the sea in front of you two.

“Yeah. What are you doing here in California?” you ask, trying to keep the conversation going.

“Taking a break from touring around the country,” he mentions as if it were the most casual thing ever.

“Oh, I see. It’s nice that you’re taking a break from all the stress of touring,” you say, trying to relate, knowing you could never do something like that. Not in this life, at least.

“Yeah, it feels nice… besides, Atsumu keeps bugging me about going out.” He rolls his eyes, though there’s no real malice behind the gesture.

“Do you ever find touring to be overwhelming?” you inquire, your foot idly nudging the warm grains of sand beneath you.

“At times… but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love my fans,” he says, smiling to himself as he recalls all the memories from the tour.

The conversation hangs in the air, but the silence feels more comfortable now than before.

After a night around the bonfire, Sakusa was relishing his two-day break from the world and, more specifically, from Atsumu. He didn’t even bother checking his phone, as he often felt overwhelmed by it. This was the price he had to pay for being a famous pop star. However, his luxurious two days of silence came to an abrupt end when Atsumu showed up at his house.

“So, are you coming over to Suna's again? We’re going to order takeout and then surf,” Atsumu said, lounging in a chair in Sakusa's room.

“Who else is going to be there?” Sakusa asked, not looking up from his phone as he skimmed through emails from his managers.

“Just me, Suna, and Kiko,” Atsumu replied casually.

Sakusa looked up from his phone when he realized that Atsumu hadn’t mentioned your name. He quickly glanced back at his phone, hoping Atsumu didn’t notice, but after being best friends for so long, Atsumu definitely noticed.

“Ooh, Sakusa, don’t tell me Yn has caught your eye! I mean, I saw you two talking, but I didn’t know you were still thinking about her,” Atsumu said with a sneaky smirk and a devilish expression on his face.

“We were just having a conversation. You guys left us alone; I don't know what you expected me to do. I wasn’t just going to sit there,” Sakusa responded defensively, trying to back up his claim against Atsumu's teasing.

“Ah, well, Yn doesn’t live in California. She lives in the state where she and Kiko go to college. She was only here for a few days to spend time with Kiko. She might come back later, but I’m not sure,” Atsumu said, revealing information about you that he knew Sakusa was curious about. This bummed Sakusa out, knowing he hadn’t had a chance to see you again, but he tried to play it off.

“You know, you should’ve gotten her number, dude,” Atsumu said, turning his attention to his phone.

“Like I said, we were just making small talk. It was nothing like that,” Sakusa replied in a monotone voice.
