HELLO EVERYONE!

We hope 2016 has been great to you so far, and it’s about to get better!

After the wild success of Ladies of Saint Seiya Week last year (thanks highly to all of you that participated!) This year we’re going to be attempting the event for a WHOLE MONTH!

Which month will it be, you ask?

The Ladies of Saint Seiya Fest for 2016 will take place through the month of June!

We also have a brand new blog to provide updates and information throughout the course of the fest, which you can find at cdzladiesfest! If you want to keep up to date on announcements and posts leading up to and during the fest, be sure to follow it!

We know a month is a heck of a long time, so we’ve devised “themes” for each week. Mind you, you’re absolutely free to talk about/publish whatever you want regarding the ladies whenever during the month (fanart, fanfics, cosplays, etc.)! If you’re looking for ideas however, feel free to use these themes and the matching prompts we’ll release during their weeks as a springboard!

Canon Week (6/1-6/7) - This week we will celebrate all of the Canon ladies from the series!

We’ll be (re)releasing profiles for them for those old and new to the show, so feel free to reblog them to spread the word about your favorites!

This is also the time to show off and talk about your fanart, fanfics, gifs, your fave moments where the ladies shine, anything for the ladies of this show! This is the time to talk about their awesomeness!

Headcanon Week (6/8-6/14) - This week is dedicated to all the headcanons you have for the ladies! AUs, ships, dreams and aspirations, what their favorite snack is, anything you might have imagined for them!

If you have any headcanons for transgender/genderfluid/genderqueer ladies, they are more than welcome to be included!

We’re also pleased to let you know that Unofficial OC Wednesday from last year has now developed into full-fledged official OC Week!

OC Week (6/15-6/21) - We all know there’s more than enough opportunity for some more women in the show, and maybe you’ve thought of a few kickass characters yourself that can teach the boys a thing or two- now’s the time to flaunt them! Profiles, fanart, fanfics, headcanons, whatever you have is something we want to hear about! (Transgender, Genderfluid, etc. OCs are also welcome!)

AU Week (6/22-6/28)- So here we have these fabulous ladies, and maybe canon isn’t enough. Maybe even headcanons and OCs aren’t enough for their awesomeness. What’s left then? Why, nothing other than AUs! This week feel free to talk about any AU ideas you’ve had in the past or just popped into your head the other day-even crossovers are welcome! Everything else! (6/29-6/30) - During the last dangling days of the month, feel free to talk about anything else you’ve got! Memes, jokes or that one piece of art or fic you managed to finish just in time are all fair game.
