Isnโt it just? The question is, WHY? I guess they donโt believe Ben can draw the audiences, anymore?
Which is bullshit. Again, Multiverse pulled in $995 Million, within its run time. This is a combination of the ongoing sabotage of his career, and of Disney, itself, while allowing the abuse to continue due to a conflict of interest, Zero and her Stench crew, Adam Ackland and her handler, David Birkin, along with UTA, and Scientology dragging him into failed projects and the Uniparty, along with BlackRock wanting RDJ back. It's bound to go bad, for a number of reasons. RDJ has lost a lot of shine, himself. The whole Oppenheimer episode left a bad taste in people's mouth, the IP of the Marvel Avenger stories not being respected and followed, and the past politics that nearly all of those who ARE in the film, have gotten into, affecting them also. There's a smorgasbord in this film of shit to go after. Sebastian and that Trump film is just one.
Ben does bear some responsibility for not being strong enough to get away from these sharks, but they are sharks, after all, and there's a lot of them. I don't envy what he goes through. Usually, actors do better outside of Marvel, now, so, he has the potential to find his stride elsewhere. Hopefully he won't be surrounded by so many Snakes. I have never seen one man, so relentlessly campaigned against, just for existing and being talented. It's been quite disgusting to witness. They want to make room for all the freaks, who just keep falling.
I'm going to make two predictions: The Academy will find some way to embarrass themselves and finally award a Marvel film, probably a Best Actor for RDJ, and, just like Snow White, they'll find a way to inject Israeli politics into the situation. Gal Gadot aka Greenstein gets cast as a villain, then used as one, in support of Israel. I can't pretend I don't see these things.
I think they're going to make Sheriff Strange into a one-off Variant played by another actor for Doomsday. Prime Dr. Strange will still be played by Ben in post-credits leading up to Secret Wars. I mean we did see Spiderman Variants played by different actors but Marvel Studios may also be making Ben sit most of Doomsday out because they don't like what his whole Dollar General team keeps doing. We already know that Karon and Tara can't manage Ben's Brand worth shit on top of him being dragged down by parasitic hangers-on ๐.
I think @aeltri is onto something. A friend of mine proposed a fan theory I really like that Doom, in story, is keeping out everyone who'd be a threat to him. Which would actually make sense, since Charlize and Ben Wong weren't listed earlier.
But I could be wrong, too. So...I guess we'll have to wait and see.
