hello!
if you don't mind me asking, how do you decide on the composition of your works? i'm always surprised about how much you can fit into one area, it's almost like the scenery you chose for each drawing has been thrown up in the air and you drew it at the perfect time as it fell. and in more still drawings all of the elements seem to stem from one point. and i mean of of this in a positive way, of course.

I would say I mostly go off of what feels right, but that’s not very helpful lol. I suppose I usually want the main focus to be the characters which are often pretty simplistic, so if I have some background elements in there too I want them to look more detailed. This is so your eyes always end up resting in the less cluttered areas which hopefully end up being the characters.
Anywhere that I feel looks distractingly empty, I just shove something there. It’s not fool proof or very technical but that’s usually how I do it :)
