A lot of people wonder how Elliot would’ve ended up if he had gotten a girlfriend, but what I wonder is what would’ve happened if he won the lottery.

In his journal entries he explained how winning could change his life and he was so desperate to do so. He thought that it could possibly be the way to cure his problems.

I feel like Elliot also wanted the attention from winning. Once someone wins the lottery, they typically end up being in articles and on news channels. Because girls seemed to give him little attention, he would’ve gained recognition from being not only rich, but lucky and more well known.
