Really don't get what Helly sees in Mark, other than some kind of stockholm syndrome. And Gemma definitely seems like she'll be better off without him once they hopefully get her out.
Well they saved her. Mark has got to be one of the most self-absorbed characters ever. First treating his wife like shit while she goes through multiple pregnancy losses, then he loses her but it's all about him, to the point that instead of dealing with his grief he joins a cult without bothering to check what the job/company is or how it could hurt people, not to mention his sister, whose feelings he doesn't even consider when they talk about her sister-in-law being alive after being presumed dead. No wonder she told him that Gemma made Mark better.
