“Trust me, I wish I was,” Lydia laughed dryly as they finally reached Suzie’s beat-up booger-green Kia Soul (ew), and slid into their respective seats.
“You made out with Kori King.”
“Maybe. Yes. Please crack a window in case I vom.” Lydia slammed her forehead against the glovebox as Suzie began to break at least 50 major traffic laws on their windy drive home.

scaled and icy has the most lore out of all their albums!!! once you literally scale back and isolate the lyrics, SAI is actually very reminiscent of the self-titled album and ties the old songs into the current narrative!!!

Jake flops back onto his bed, and maybe it's his imagination, but he can already feel the hotness cling to him, that infamous L.A heat. Jake lets out a sigh.
In the silence, he can hear a door open, then footsteps coming towards his room. They stop outside his door, hesitant. Jake waits a beat, then calls out in a heavy croak, “It's open.”
The door opens, and Johnnie slips inside.
