Your art is disgusting and makes me sick. It's some of my favorite works. Besides the subjects, I wonder if it's the colors that make it so slimy
Yayyy :)
i do like my orange-grey-brown-green colour palettes very much but i don't know if that's what make it slimy ββ (β Β΄β γΌβ ο½β )β β
the meat room one is very slimy in my opinion but it's more of a red-grey-yelllow-purple
the only consistent thing is that i almost never use blue? ig?
looks at you with big admiring fellow artist eyes. have you played blasphemous? pretty please let me encourage you to experience blasphemous the video game?
Hi!! :D
i have played blasphemous a few months ago and i'm now playing through blasphemous 2! they're great games! love the pointy helmets and the catholicism. And the parry mechanic. also the worldbuilding and the art.
currently struggling against the challenge room in elevated temples with two mirrors and a sword guy throwing energy balls π
turns out if you use the mirrors to avoid the death balls and don't just try to dodge them it's a pretty straightforward fight
how did you get into making this kind of art? all of it is amazing!!
Thanks!! :D
It's a combination of 7-9 y/o me watching castle in the sky + nausicaa of the valley of the wind once, while sick, which i loved very very much but didn't know the name of so i couldn't watch again. So i tried to make art that scratched that same itch :)
(which at the time consisted mostly of variations of glowing crystals and mushrooms)
Also later on i saw bits of evangelion which is how i got into the whole weird angels thing!
and nowadays i take inspiration from a bunch of stuff i find cool and that kinda makes me feel like when i first watched these films/tv series :D
(like the magnus archives, blasphemous, fear and hunger, pathologic, discover my body etc)
I'm also just. into gore and body horror

the meat man shouldve just used cured meats on his floor to counteract the yellow liquid from the other meats smh
If he was TRULY dedicated to the craft he'd have made an intricate liquid waste disposal system running through the building. entirely out of meat-y things: pipes of leather and cured meat, held together with ligament and guts, weaving through walls and floor to deposit ALL of the Goop DIRECTLY in his neighbors' ceiling !!!
You can't just improvise a thing like covering your entire flat with rotting meat! If you're going to undertake a DIY home project like that you HAVE to do some planning!
