"Rationalism" is up there with "Objectivism" in terms of "definitionally funny things to call your own belief system".

"Yeah man I've been doing some thinking and philosophy and I've come up with a framework called Being Right"

Hey trans masc/man who's scared to take T because you're scared you'll be more angry Hey trans masc/man who has been on T a while and you were told that you have gotten more angry It's not the T It's that women aren't allowed to be angry and you have stopped swallowing your anger like you were taught to. They are mad that you have taken ownership of your own space, and moreover that you did it in a way that women are explicitly told not to. Never stop rebelling. Never stop being you, in your truest form.

????😭😭😭

TO CLARIFY: The 988 lifeline is STILL able to be used! I feel that this post can be very easily misinterpreted. Like, this is so misleading. What happened is that DOGE cut staff who work for this lifeline as well as one that's specifically dedicated to veterans. Is this evil as fuck? Yes, absolutely, especially since this lifeline has had literally MILLIONS of callers as of 2024. Can you still use the 988 number in the US? YES, and if you ever feel the need to use it, please do. You may use any of the above resources. Stay safe out there, everyone. 🧡

if USPS has a million fans, I'm one of them

if USPS has 5 fans, I'm one of them

if USPS has 1 fan, that is me

if USPS has no fans, I'm no longer alive

if the world is against USPS I'm against the entire world

till my last breath I support USPS

I joke but actually USPS is the literal lifeline for so many housebound disabled people who receive lifesaving medications through it- especially housebound people in rural areas. so many private shipping companies do not serve rural areas. try getting anyone else to drive hours into the middle of nowhere to deliver. try it. not all disabled people live in urban areas. USPS saves disabled lives ‼️ without USPS many housebound disabled people will die.

USPS is a disability rights issue

Disability rights and accessibility in rural areas are important. I want to add a long list of other reasons why I love the USPS too.

I've always lived places served by both UPS and FedEx and often other shippers too, but I have always strongly preferred USPS:

  • It is always cheaper and faster for first-class mail
  • Its book rate is often cheaper for long-distance shipping of heavy books
  • They have regular postal carriers who I see daily and they're part of the community and neighborhood in a way that the other carriers aren't.
  • Probably related to the regularity of the carriers, they are consistently good at putting packages where I want, such as inside my screen door protected from rain, whereas other carriers frequently leave items out in the open.
  • I have not once had the USPS mark something as "delivered" that did not arrive, but this happens occasionally with other carriers.
  • Prior to the Trump administration and the appointment of DeJoy, I never had the USPS lose anything, whereas I have had other carriers lose things a number of times.
  • There has always been a post office within walking distance of my home, while with UPS and FedEx it has been a "maybe" and other carriers have never had a physical location within walking distance.
  • The USPS offers other government services such as passport applications, at its offices.

The only problems I have with the USPS currently are directly related to Trump appointing DeJoy who has been trying to dismantle, weaken, or undermine it. I still don't understand why Biden and the Democrats didn't try to force DeJoy out and replace him.

I was explaining to my mom about how tumblr is excited for the ides of march tomorrow, and celebrating the assassination of a corrupt politician etc. etc. and she goes, "Oh! So what do we wear!"

And I said, "IDK a knife?"

And she said, "Ohh, I don't think I can get away with that at the conference. But I know, I'll draw a picture of a knife and carry it around in my pocket and get a giggle out of it whenever I look in my pocket!"

Anyway my mom's brilliant and I think we should all carry paper knives tomorrow.

Friendly reminder that Queer is not just feminine, but also masculine, sometimes both and sometimes neither.

But anyway, people seem to reached the wrong conclusion that Queer is "Women+", "GirlPower", "Female energy" and all that crap, which is...wrong. Is wrong, disrespectful and harmful.

Tell me you've never spoken to a trans man or anyone in the global south or are aware of the fact that trans day of visibility isn't about Staring At A Trans Person

let jedi be jedi.

let them be uncomfortable with romance and/or marriage.

let them be repulsed at the idea of leaving the order.

let them feel liberated by jedi beliefs--let them see it as freedom from the burdens and chains of worldly life to follow the will of the force.

let them love the temple and think fondly of their fellow jedi and their communal lifestyle.

let them care for their masters and their padawans without imposing the dynamics of the nuclear family. let them explicitly reject comparisons of their masters to parents, or their padawans to children.

let them defend the jedi openly! without shame!

let them embrace the modesty, humility, and practicality of jedi clothing.

let them love being jedi, everything about being jedi, with no strings attached.

just....let jedi be jedi
