I really really really hate to be asking you guys this. But my car needs a replacement part that I cannot afford to have put in. Without a car, I am stuck at home, subject to constant ‘well-meaning’ verbal abuse. As I am nearly about to commit suicide, I cannot handle not being able to get away from this environment when I need to. (Again, total honesty, not begging for sympathy) And, without a car, I cannot get to Riverton to do my college classes, and I am ineligible for financial aid PERIOD in the college in this town (not to mention that adds 5 months AT LEAST to the purgatory that is my parents’ house)

I will part with these for $25-60 each (inquire about each for the prices, there are a few nuances— for example, the sculptures can be sold separately).

And in case you were wondering, I want to go to school for nursing. To become a midwife. To help women.

if this was reversed with male characters calling women accessories, people would be screaming bloody murder and calling the artist a misogynist.

Because we live in a misogynist culture. When you get denied jobs because of your looks, or get called a "bitch" or similar degrading term instead of "girlfriend," then you can cite an actual problematic pattern of gender-related dehumanization such as the cases that happen to women all the time, then maybe we'll make a bigger deal about one line of dialogue referring to men as accessories. 

Also, good job exaggerating and saying "screaming bloody murder." You're totally not diminishing our complaints by characterizing us as hysterical.

everyone has said and done problematic things in their lifetime. that’s a result of the society we live in, not necessarily a reflection of their character.

what is a reflection of their character is how they react to being informed of the negativity within their behavior and statements, and whether or not they choose to change their behavior.
