How to support an editor:
- like and reblog their stuff
- leave nice comments in the tags (what do you think about the edit and/or what do you like about it)
- send asks to compliment them
- DON’T STEAL THEIR GIFS AND EDITS AND REPOST THEM
- there’s no need to repost an edit or part of an edit, just reblog the original post and leave a comment if you have something meaningful to say (not just ‘omg i love this!!!’ because comments like these belong in the tags)
- use the gif finder for your reaction posts so that everyone can see who made that gif and can be redirected to the original edit
- credit the owner if you post the edit on instagram and/or twitter
- don’t remove the caption from the edit
- don’t only reblog stuff from big blogs, reblog from every editor
- be free to make constructive criticism but always be polite and respectful
hope you don’t mind me adding this, but i’d like to add that if you want to post an edit on another site, ask the maker before posting, even if you credit! i don’t particularly want my edits posted elsewhere, and i know many others feel the same!!
