Hi there everyone! *(waves)* Now that I've been here for months I suppose I should make a navigation post lmao.

Once again, Tumblr has failed me link-wise and I was to embarrassed by my last fic banner to try that again, so we're just gonna go with an Ao3 screenshot, okay? Okay. Anywho, I'm here with the final MoA rewrite before Strings of Fate starts posting tomorrow! Why am I posting this so last minute? Well, yesterday my cat gave me a concussion and today I spent four hours hunting down and resuscitating a Chromebook I had left for dead because my laptop refused to play nice. That's why. Regardless, this needed tonhappen because I needed A) more Piper POV B) more Piper & Jason friendship and C) more Drama Queen Jason. I am pleased with the outcome

Regardless, I hope you enjoy this entry to Scenes of Athena: PIPER Holds on Tight

They managed to make it up to the top deck with everyone else before they were attacked again, Jason stumbling so hard Piper had to catch him before he could fall. She whipped her head around and tried not to gag. “What the fuck is that?” “Shrimpzilla!” Percy shouted back. It wasn’t exactly a helpful description, but it wasn’t exactly wrong, either. The monster currently attacking the ship was a gigantic shrimp… cockroach… thing. It had an almost offensively bright pink shell made up of dozens of different segments that all slotted together and slid over one another like some kind of weird puzzle box, and there were hundreds of creepy bug-like legs on either side of its body that all twitched and undulated in one hypnotic mass. It had gigantic, bulbous eyes that held no light or intelligence, and a gigantic gaping maw that held no teeth. Looking at it made Piper feel like she was going to be sick. *** The Argo II Crew fights their pinkest foe.

Leo is like a book where the pages have been glued together and it takes careful precision and dedicated time to peel the pages apart without ruining the paper. Sometimes the ink peels away and makes certain parts difficult to read, but with enough effort you can get through it.

Jason is like a book where a good number of pages are filled out with large text, easy to read, and the remaining pages past the acknowledgements are blank. However, they're actually written in invisible ink, but since the story before the "blank" pages feels complete, no one ever questions why there's empty pages at the end. It's probably just a publishing error

Hello everyone!!! I'm BACK and this time I come bearing Pipeyna. I've missed my girls <3 Anywho, @manygeese (WHO SHOULD OPEN UP HER AO3 TO ALLOW FOR GIFTS WINK WINK NUDGE NUDGE) made a fun post about various ships as stuff she found on Pinterest, and my little goblin brain took over and made fluff. I will never apologize for who I am.

So, without further ado, here is The Pill Bug Means I Love You

Reyna held her phone up, squinting at it like that would help her decipher the cryptic message Piper had sent her. Reyna’s original message of Love you. On my way home now, had received the kissy face reaction Piper almost always sent her. If that had been the end of it, Reyna would have been able to go about her evening with no issue. Instead, Piper had quickly sent her a picture, and Reyna felt a bit like she was failing a test. “Jason, can I get your opinion on something?” she asked. When he hummed in acknowledgement, she turned her phone so he could see the text conversation and Piper’s message of a heavily pixelated bug with a speech bubble pointing to an equally pixelated box of McNuggets. “What does this mean?” Jason squinted at the phone for a moment, his brow furrowed deep and serious. He blinked, then took off his glasses, cleaned them, returned them to his face, and got right back to squinting. “Is that a pill bug?” *** Piper sends Reyna an absolutely nonsensical message. Being the obliging girlfriend she is, Reyna makes sense of it anyway
