I hope everyone in the PNW and anyone else who got hit by the bomb cyclone is doing okay. I live in a forest in Washington, we were hit just about the worst. Tons of trees have fallen, we haven’t had power for the past two days, and it doesn’t seem like it’ll be back for the rest of the week. I literally had a cold potato for dinner yesterday. My poor dog can’t even go outside because the wind is so strong she keeps getting toppled over. Our 30 pound barbecue got thrown into our fence. My neighborhood is such a mess.

People in my neighborhood have died from trees falling on their homes. Luckily my family is safe. I only have one album downloaded, so I’ve been listening to regional at best on repeat this whole time lol. I love RAB but I did scream for a good minute upon the realization that I only have one album.

Considering where I live this definitely isn’t the first time something like this has happened, but it’s arguably the worst it’s been. But there’s nothing like a bunch of theater kids sitting in a circle huddling together for warmth around a flashlight while telling scary stories.

Life update: I’ve been doing a pretty good job taking care of myself. More than that though my best friend @hleinahtan has been incredibly helpful. I did a coloring yesterday -

Bandit moodboard

Bandit is just like my dada!! He’s super silly but in a loving and caring way. I didn’t see my dad much during my childhood, he was at work from before I woke up until after I was asleep, and on the weekends he never had energy to play with me. But he has a ton more time now that he has his own small business. We get to hang out a lot more, he helps me with my woodworking projects and reads me picture books!

I showed him the “it’s dad” thing, and he does it sometimes when he comes home and I love it, it makes me so happy :3 unicorse especially reminds me of my dada. He can be very annoying at times. Also bandit’s goofy tie, and his mullet!! My dad doesn’t have a mullet yet, but he’s been trying to grow it for a while. And the silly stuff bandit does in “smoochy kiss”, and his goofy stretches.

I love my dada and bandit!! He’s a huge comfort character of mine!
