What type of Scouse accent do you think John has? Scouse accents have variations, but I wonder which one just suits him like Cinderella’s glass shoe fitting her.
Now that's a good question 🤔 It might be the Red Dwarf bias talking but him sounding something like Lister makes sense to me. Distinctly scouse but also not an incredibly thick accent

No idea if you ever got asked that, but thoughts on Matt Ryan's Constantine?
I definitely have a soft spot for his portrayal of the character. I found Constantine through the animated movies so my first introduction to him was through Matt Ryan voicing him, and then watched the TV show right after. Which while not perfect, especially with the hindsight of comic knowledge, was plenty enjoyable. I did not, and will not, touch Legends though.
He definitely did a good job capturing Constantine's energy and I can imagine he'd be absolutely amazing if given more faithful material to work with.
I think my only petty critique is his accent isn't Scouse enough, I know he dialled it back for American viewers but I also don't think the perception of usamerican viewers should dictate how a character is

Aw I'm sorry you both missed them! I think it's looking like it'll be a good idea to do another drop! I have my other keychain design on the way, but I might hold off listing it until I have stock of everything again. I keep ordering small quantities because I underestimate how much people like them 😭

My boy johnstantine got hands down the worst tumblr treatment I have ever seen. He’s only talked about in the context of batfamily members, Danny phantom, and Raven. my boy survived the aids crisis and homelessness to be woobified for fucking cartoon characters. RIP king your trench coat drip was too strong your swag too great
people are radicalized by source material these days. i feel like you can ask a person who talks about constantine if they've ever read hellblazer, and they're like "what's that" and your world just comes crumbling down.
also, on another note, i think what annoys me significantly about the dc side of things (as a dc fan- certain comic runs, anyway) is that everything somehow connects to the batfamily. irritates me. and i like some of the batkids. i just don't understand why john and batman need any form of conversation relating to magic when bruce SHOULD have zatanna on speed dial but god forbid a woman get any attention (you know, the healthy kind).
and i will honestly never understand the raven/john relationship. usually because i see it portrayed as john as a parental figure and if you've read anything john, you should know how that goes.
but alas.

Aww yeah! More mainstream merch of John like that would be amazing. I'm pretty sure there's a batman nendoroid so that makes it a little closer to being possible! (Though still incredibly unlikely :'))

I'd say it was less chaos and more a general sense of frustration, but yeah, big props to them! I think it's very easy to get caught up in silly fanon stuff and not consider the wider implications of things, especially with a charcter like John who is basically an entirely different person within that side of the fandom
