In the main event, Eddie Guerrero defended the WWE Championship against John Bradshaw Layfield.
During the match, JBL hit Guerrero with a steel chair, causing Guerrero to bleed, which in reality was caused by botched blading after Guerrero cut an artery in his forehead.
In the end, John Bradshaw Layfield won the match after Guerrero was disqualified for hitting Layfield with the championship, allowing Guerrero to retain the WWE Championship.
After the match, Guerrero continued to attack Layfield. (Judgment Day 5/16/2004)
