Clone Wars theme song starts playing:

Introducing: Uncharted [Remastered]! Captain Sill and his men have been tasked with an impossible mission on the arid planet of Agamar! But after finding an orphan, the lone survivor of a vicious droid attack, Sill needs to re-evaluate the plan and straighten his priorities before this mission will claim the lives of them all!

A Clone Wars adventure for my boys! Updates every Tuesday and Saturday!

I genuinely believe that the new SW trilogy wouldn’t have flopped out into irrelevance like it did if they hadn’t dumped Finn on the side of the freeway like a new pet rabbit the week after easter

Anyway in my heart Finn became a Jedi alongside Rey and inspired a Stormtrooper insurrection and Kyle Ron went back to his mom like he should have day fucking one and that angry redhead dude blew up with the star destroyer and Poe got to make it happen and at the end Rey doesn’t give a shit who her bitch ass non-palpatine parents might have been because she gets her new family like she needed and palpatine stays dead at the bottom of his musty hole like he should have and Finn and Poe give each other approximately 130% the amount of lingering meaningful looks and then one of their run-together-to-reunite moments results in a heat-of-the-moment make out like it should have and Luke and Leia meet in person a minimum of once so she can sibling slap him at least once for being a useless dramatic old hermit for a billion years and tell him to get the Chanel boots back on and stop being a sad hobo and then for no reason at all there is an ewok style moon of Endor forest party at the end like God intended

sith!Obi-Wan you’ll always be superior…🧎‍♀️‍➡️🤭

Felt like drawing reference sheets for the characters from my fallen jedi au (I’m still trying to come up with a proper name for it…) and ofc I’m starting with the goat himself😈

(Feel free to draw or cosplay him anytime, just don’t forget to give me a tag and a proper credit 🫶😘)

The cast of the Original Trilogy had cliched, boring character concepts that were executed wonderfully enough for it not to matter.

The cast of the Prequel Trilogy had interesting concepts that were executed poorly enough to make them seem utterly stupid.

The cast of the Sequel Trilogy had amazing, thought-provoking concepts that were executed in the town square and put up on pikes as a warning to others.

This is actually probably the best summary of star wars I’ve ever seen

Lest y'all think I've forsaken the clone girlies (gender neutral) in the run up to Andor, fear not! I have so so so many clone things, including almost every clone you can think of as minifigure earrings! I'm just gonna drop as many of my clone goodies as I can in this post here. AND! I'm currently having a sale! So pop on over. Shop is here.

First, some earring samples! (I have over 25 different clones available so definitely come see if I have your fave. I probably do.)

And then everything else! Almost! I put as much as I could fit. This post does not include the rest of my clone earrings or any of the apparel items I have (including the Clone Force 99 hoodies and some bandanas and totes!). But I wanted to share everything with you nonetheless, especially because I know both Star Wars Celebration Japan AND May the 4th AND so many cons are coming up! Love y'all!

Hope you find something you love! <3

In defence of Ahsoka

Spoilers for all of clone wars

Today I rewatched clone wars episodes 701-704 and 708-712 and while watching the last two episodes I was thinking about everyone who thinks Ahsoka was weird or wrong or whatever for releasing Maul when she didn’t want to kill clone troopers or choosing not to kill them when they were all gonna die anyway.

It’s important to note that Ahsoka doesn’t say she’s not trying to kill anyone until after removing Rex’s chip ie until she knew they weren’t attacking her out of free will. Also at that point the ship’s hyperdrive was still intact so from her point of view she probably thought she might be able to save more troopers or at the very least escape but leave the crew alive.

When she released Maul her situation was «a bunch of soldiers just started trying to kill me after I heard voices of problems and Rex told me to find Fives so right now I just need to figure out what’s going on but I won’t be able to find anything about Fives without a distraction the only option for one of these is Maul» at that point she wasn’t trying not to hurt people because as far as she’s concerned they all just started trying to kill her. However she doesn’t give Maul a lightsaber and literally says “I’m not rooting for you”

Also I don’t think it’s about not killing people, it’s about not killing clones who are acting against their wills. Before Maul escapes she even swipes her lightsaber at his neck so she probably wouldn’t have cares if she killed him then because he isn’t a good person she regards as like a brother who is being forced to act against his will, he’s the guy who destroyed the hyperdrive and who is going to have caused the deaths of everyone on board.

I also think that she was maybe trying to protect Rex, we know from Umbara that killing your own brothers is one of the worst things ever for a clone (or for Ahsoka who is like a sister to the clones for reasons I will defend in another post) so maybe she was trying to make sure that Rex didn’t have to go through having to kill his brothers while going through everything else he’s going through. Maybe idk

She also never could have expected Rex would order all of the escape pods to be released. That was the thing that really doomed them all.

My God, anyone who takes issue with “I’m not going to be the one to kill them” a.k.a. Ahsoka’s great moment of having really become a grown-up and a Jedi Knight in all but name, not just a soldier, I don’t want to know you lol. How do you live and watch shows this way.

That moment is why the episode is called “Victory and Death.” War is long and only by surviving can you prevail, like Yoda tells Jek in the very first episode. And later as he says, no one ever truly wins a war, in fighting at all you lose. The only “victories” in war are hollow, except maybe simply surviving and coming out the other side not corrupted by it.

It’s always been this theme throughout TCW how easy it can be to lose who you are in war. Rex and Ahsoka have been fighting so long. Now they find themselves turned on their own. Rex as such a natural soldier just stays in survival mode, but this is devastating for him, and he kind of reaches a breaking point trying to reason with her that the other clones aren’t going to give up until they’re dead. And she takes that moment to stop and actually acknowledge his pain, shows him it’s okay, this time they can stop fighting. It’s finally too much and they don’t have to destroy themselves like this. They keep their own humanity by still recognizing the humanity that’s been taken away from those men. It’s a kindness to Rex, not just some stupid and pointless moral vanity on her part. I don’t know if they could have lived with themselves and gone on to fight another day if they didn’t stop then and agree that they’re not prepared to personally kill their own men to save themselves.
