There is no need to compete. Draw what you enjoy and don’t compare yourself to other people. I do that a lot myself, so i know the struggle and how hard it is. But do it to enjoy doing fanart and not to compete to other artists <3 Because that mindset can cause one to loose joy in a hobby or to take part in a fandom. Had that with another fandom as it felt more and more like trying to keep up and please the audience instead of having fun (even if doing art can be a love hate relationship xD ) So don’t let yourself become discouraged by the level of other artists.

my first charms arrived last week!! Have never done any kind of physical merch before and they turned out awesome! The back is silver because the gold stamp is one side only. And only made a little batch of 6. a few people „pre-ordered“, so I was able to cover the costs. would love to order them again and sell them in the future.
I have my bachelors project that I have to do soon and need to prioritize. I am preparing for it because it is going to be an animation. I already hate myself for that dumbass idea.
But right now I want to do everything but. I am so fricking motivated to do fanart. And my god do I want to draw it badly. But I shouldn’t!! Well maybe I should to destress but I still shouldn’t… I probably end up wasting my time trying not to do it while not doing either. I already get anxiety thing about the animations haha
Finally managed to order acrylic charms. It’s the first time I order a physical item with my art. It’s a personal art. Simple with a gold stamp. Luckily had three people who bought one, so i was able to pay everything. A little excited to see them in person. If I get the product pictures beforehand, I might post it here. Would like to create some merch in the future, so it is basically a small test.
