On the first day of Ramadan, Israel demolished 11 homes in Nour Shams camp in the West Bank. Occupation forces demolished these homes in order to build a new road. The owners and residents of these homes were only given three hours to collect their belongings and evacuate.
It's important to note that Nour Shams camp is in Area A of the West Bank, and Israeli occupation forces have no business being there in the first place, let alone pave a road since the area should fall under full civil and security control of the Palestinian Authority.
This is part of an ongoing military operation against the West Bank which intensified right after the ceasefire announcement in Gaza and has so far displaced over 40,000 Palestinians. This Israeli aggression is carried out under the same pretext as that in Gaza: to eliminate Palestinian resistance. However, as time passes, it becomes clearer every day that this can't be further from the truth and that it is purely an extension, a continuation of Israel's action plan to annex more Palestinian lands as part of its settler colonial project.
Understand that the West Bank is being annexed right now. It is happening. Annexation is taking place from Nour Shams to Jenin to Hebron. Villages are being depopulated. Palestinians are being displaced from their homes in stark numbers. Palestinian homes are being destroyed. An unprecedented number of settlements are being built atop these now forcibly emptied lands. "Don't look away" is now outdated.
Coming across these numbers is heart-wrenching on levels I can't even begin to describe.
Well, let me try:
I spent sometime in Jenin a few summers ago. I still fondly remember how Em Abed, a Nakba survivor herself, welcomed me into her house that had no doors, stretching out her golden arms open to take me in, as I have recently survived the Qalandia checkpoint. I recall the warm sun as her grandson Eyad, who was 13 at the time, eagerly took me around to show me the Horse of Jenin, an art installation made of the scrap metal of all the cars and ambulances that Israel had destroyed when it invaded the camp. I can still hear the vegetable vendors going between the very narrow alleyways, you'd think they'd start climbing the walls to make it through. I recall walking up the hill with friends to look over the camp from the same spot that Zionist forces had used to plan their attacks during their 2002 aggression. I also remember going to the cemetery of martyrs, dedicated to the martyrs of the camp. I remember that despite praying, I can still feel my chest tighten up as I took in just how many martyrs I was surrounded by. Two tombstones indicated that two siblings were lying next to each other. My friend recognised their names and proceeded to tell me the story of their martyrdom. As we walked out, we paused to say hello to a man I have never met before. As we walked away, my friend tugged at my hand and whispered "he's the father of the sibling martyrs."
When I see these numbers and statistics, I think of every inch of Jenin and I weep. The horse, the alleyways, Em Abed, the vegetable vendors are all gone. The father cannot visit his sons in their graves either.
I despise CNN reporters they're all arms of the Israeli government doing the same propaganda as always i hate them I hate them I hate them
And let it be clear that Israel is refusing to initiate phase two exactly because this phase of the agreement includes a full Israeli withdrawal from Gaza and a definitive end to the "war", both of which Israel does not want.
Plus, why would Hamas agree to an extension when Israel didn't even meet the full terms of the first phase of the agreement, violating the ceasefire literally hundreds of times?

"Germans! Defend yourselves! Don't buy from Jews!"
Boycotting a country that’s in the process of genocide is the same as hating jews, apparently.
Lmfao. Zionists are absolutely desperate to conflate Zionism with Judaism. Don’t fall for it. They want you to adopt this deeply antisemitic belief, and will accuse you of antisemitism if you refuse. But the fact is that you do not have to endorse genocide in order to not hate Jews. There is nothing about Jews that makes them inherently genocidal, and if you let Zionists convince you otherwise, you are betraying the countless Jews around the world who are decent people and don’t want anyone to be slaughtered in the name of securing lebensraum oops I mean “securing the existence of our people and a future for our children” I mean uhh securing an ethnostate to “protect” Jews by displacing and/or wiping out the native population and stealing the land
I’m shocked Zionists still bring up Nazis as though they aren’t aware that they’re the nazis in this scenario
For people who think boycotts /BDS doesn’t working —
My last job was at an ad agency and Burger King and Hershey’s were one of our clients. We’ve received several briefs on how to combat and address boycott sentiments because it was affecting their market shares.
And our other clients frequently check to make sure they’re not being boycotted
There is an occ-pier, and an occ-pied. There's a colonizer, and the colonized. The Land Owners and the thieves. It's not complicated.

In case you're wondering how responsible the US is for every murdered child, aid worker, and civilian in Palestine, it's 70%.
It's as much an American genocide as an Israeli one.
