if I had a nickel for every time there was a character named Jonathan who is in academia specifically researching fears and is also strongly connected to the very concept of fear, including causing fear to those around them, and is often associated with the colour green...

edit: AND I just realized they were raised by their grandmother and great-grandmother, respectively?!

saw it was platonic stobin month and instantly opened my laptop and wrote a fic for them in one sitting. and then also immediately drew this scene from it lmao

ALSO!! Steve's hair is down because he's already showered out all of his hair spray, so that's why he kind of has bangs haha <3

I love creating more and more absurd ways in every single one of my TMA fic wips for Sasha to survive. I swear I'm never going to write a fic where she actually dies, I actually don't care how unrealistic it is <3

(I even have one wip where I figured out a logical way for her to become a ghost, because in that one I need her coworkers to mourn her death, but even then I refuse to actually let her stay dead lmao)

omg my dream last night had Michael Distortion in it?!? :D

in the thrilling plot of... me working in a grocery store and him being the cashier. yes, really.

the grocery store was controlled by the Eye, though, and the other entities controlled different parts of the store, although the Spiral (Michael the cashier) and the Eye (the store manager) were the only one with an actual avatar

the dream also was actually incredibly boring until the last like 1%, when suddenly the old manager left to go help a customer in the parking lot and died somehow? so while she was gone, suddenly Michael and my other coworker (some unnamed girl) filled me in on the situation, and told me if I wanted to escape I'd have to bond with one of the entities. Michael suggested I bond with the Web, who had been looking for an avatar for a long time. then he also marked me with the Spiral on my ankle

then suddenly the store manager's husband (who wasn't ACTUALLY supposed to be Elias but sure was similar to him lmao) came into the store (apparently he'd driven over as soon as he'd learned of her death - or maybe he Saw it? whatever), and he was actually THRILLED that she was dead because he was an Eye avatar too and he wanted control of the grocery store domain more than he loved her, I guess. so the rest of us had to scramble around and hide the planning we'd just been doing to overthrow him as he walked through the aisles to survey his new domain

anyways, that's... about when the dream ended and I woke up lmao. kind of annoying that my brain always wakes me up just after making my dreams actually interesting (I kid you not, half of the dream was LITERALLY just me sorting and resorting the clothing section of the store???), BUT it's still always a good day when I dream of a fictional character who I love!!! <333

saw this image in a different fandom and thought of Tim literally immediately lmao

honestly having 11 housemates for a few months when I was 18 (and it being genuinely being the best experience of my life) is going to influence everything I write for the rest of my life. every fandom I go into I can't help but think "but what if every single one of my favourite characters lived together?"

illustration for chapter 15 of A Stitch In Time. things are really starting to come together, characters are meeting for the first time, truths are being revealed... fun stuff :DD (this is one of my favourite chapters so far!!)

(this drawing admittedly ended up being more perspective practice than anything else, but lowkey I've started to find perspective really fun?? I referenced a photo for the general shape of the room, but I made up literally everything else and it actually turned out so much better than I was expecting!! this is why I started doing illustrations of my fics in the first place actually, there's no WAY I would have been able to even ATTEMPT a drawing like this a year ago, but regular scene practice really has been helping so much :DDD)

my closet cosplay of Gerard Keay - also my first time trying any sort of cosplay ever!!!

I figured he would be easy because I'd already doodled his eye tattoos on my hands before, I already wear mostly black anyways, and I could borrow the leather jacket and mesh gloves from my mom lol. and I really love Gerry ofc!! although nobody recognized him (I went to a few events and into school like this on halloween*) I still got so much joy out of this <333

if I ever go to a convention in the future I’m absolutely wearing this again, and maybe I’ll even iron my hair and buy black hair spray or something too!!
