ALSO kind of weird to become ur own dad but hugging himself with his dads arms-

Now I’m thinking about him at like 30 finding an old hair brush or something and using that for the poly juice and seeing just how YOUNG his dad was when he died

Ahhh yes, the pajamas with stripes in the infirmary!! I love that fic actually, Draco’s characterization was PERFECT and the way she wrote about his ocd was so well done. Also Harry’s self discovery- UGG anything where the character takes time to heal and learn about themselves makes my heart happy

Thank you for the ask! I’m always on the lookout for fic recs, I read at an ungodly speed so I’m making my way through all the major ones in the fandom now since I’ve only recently read the HP series

Well..I dont think it would be that far from canon, everything happens as it should but the turning point would after the sectumsempra scene. Harry instead of avoiding Draco he would go to the infirmary to check on him not only because he feels bad but also to try and get Draco to confess (?) or to say something about what his mission is so he can try to help him. As for Draco I think he is the kind of suicidal who wants to live yk in 6th year he realized there are more important things at play so his animosity with Harry doesnt seem that important to him anymore but still he cant control his feelings. Draco would know what Harry is trying to do so he tries to be nonchalant about the whole situation so Harry will leave him alone faster (even though he hates being shown so vulnerable). They only would share a week or less trying to talk with with the other while Draco gets better (which would be so awkard lmao) but maybe they would share some things that would get to know each other better.

I find it quite funny that after stalking and plotting for that entire year, the only time they can have a "civilized" conversation is only after accidentally almost killing each other.

After Draco is discharged, the two don't speak for the rest of the year. Perhaps when all the chaos breaks out and Dumbledore is dead, Harry might offer him the chance to join the Order or a way to redeem himself, but Draco wouldn't accept anyway because his family comes first.

So the very little trust they were building during that week in the infirmary. Poof. Gone jijiji

Nooooow about the scars HEHHEHEHEHHEH I dont believe they heal a 100% So imagine Draco learning how to use makeup to cover the slash of his face since any spells do nothing lol
