Old Eddy is much more accident prone, but his resilience earned him the respect of even the most pompous guy on the railway.

I read a rewrite suggestion of edward the really useful engine, where Edward begins to clank after saving Gordon, and Gordon actually gets worried that Edward will be sent to the scrap, and he visits him in the works to apologize for his previous treatments of him. Edward accepts the apology and assures Gordon that he only needs repairs. When Duck gets stuck on the hill, Gordon tries to push him up to honor Edward, but fails, and only when Edward arrives, they chant together, echoing the second episode of the model series.
